We are a venture-backed, fast-growing B2B startup with remote-first teams in Portugal and the continental US, supporting a diverse global customer base ranging from mid-sized startups to Global 1000 enterprises.

Job Description

We're looking for an adaptable, tech-savvy, and ambitious Presales Solution Manager to join our revenue team. In this high-impact, customer-facing role, you will guide prospective customers through solution discovery, technical evaluation, and successful selection of Dragonboat.

You will serve as the strategic and technical bridge between our sales, product, and customer teams. To excel in this role, you need enterprise empathy with startup velocity meaning you deeply understand the governance, planning cadences, and complex workflows of large organizations, yet you execute with the speed, efficiency, and adaptability of a high-growth startup.

(Note: While this is not an individually quota-carrying role, performance and bonus are directly tied to overall sales team success.)

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Drive Technical Wins: Own all aspects of the solution selection process - including operating model discovery, solutioning, customer demos, technical evaluations, workshops, POCs, and technical validation throughout the sales process to achieve technical wins.

  • Lead Deep Discovery: Uncover and map customer product operating models, planning cadences, workflows, governance structures, and data hierarchies.

  • Deliver Commanding Presentations: Design and deliver tailored, high-impact demonstrations that connect overarching strategic goals to daily platform workflows.

  • Configure & Solve: Hands-on configuration of accounts, data mapping, integrations, and custom use cases to prove value during evaluations.

  • Manage RFI/RFPs: Own technical solution responses with clarity, precision, and credibility.

  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously master Dragonboat capabilities, evolving product ops practices, and AI-enabled workflows to act as a trusted advisor to customers.

Qualifications

Core Experience:

  • 5+ years working as a Product Manager, Product Ops, PMO, strategy, or transformation leader in technology organizations.

  • 2+ years in client-facing roles (e.g., presales, consulting, account management, or professional services).

  • Deep understanding of strategic planning, portfolio management, roadmap planning, quarterly planning, prioritization, and product delivery workflows.

Technical & Execution Skills:

  • Experience in data model: Hands-on experience mapping, structuring, and configuring data models - translating complex enterprise workflows and data hierarchies into clear, scalable platform schemas.

  • Tech-Savvy & Tool Fluent: Fluent in key product and project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Aha!, Linear, Smartsheet) with proven ability to configure automated workflows and system integrations.

  • Superb Presentation Skills: Charismatic and articulate communicator, confident leading discussions with C-suite executives, technical admins, and cross-functional teams alike.

  • AI & Systems Thinking: A strong bias for applied learning in AI and agentic tools, with the ability to design both internal and customer-facing workflows.

  • Preferred: Previous experience as a Dragonboat admin or power user is a massive plus.

Work Style & Attributes:

  • Big-Picture yet Detail-Oriented: Ability to zoom out to understand a customer's overarching business strategy, then zoom in to flawlessly execute technical setups and data integrations.

  • Fast & Efficient: High agency, rapid learner, and naturally efficient. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and figure out solutions independently when blueprints don't exist.

  • Enterprise Agility: You understand how massive, complex organizations operate, but you don't get bogged down by bureaucracy and you move fast and make things happen.
