WHO YOU ARE
Snowflake is seeking a strategic, customer-obsessed Senior Manager, Customer Advocacy Programs to lead and scale Snowflake's flagship global advocacy programs, turning our most valued customers into powerful brand champions on the world's biggest stages.
You are the architect of Snowflake's most visible customer programs: iconic billboard campaigns, customer activations around LA28, our executive Customer Advisory Board (the Black Diamond Council), and Alpine Club, our premier co-marketing program for Snowflake's most strategic customers. At the same time, you are grounded in the fundamentals of customer marketing: identifying, recruiting, and nurturing the right customer voices, building durable advocacy, and translating customer outcomes into stories that create mutual value across the customer lifecycle. You see customer advocacy as a growth lever, not just a program, a way to deepen trust with strategic accounts, inform business and product strategy, and act as a true partner to Sales.
You thrive at the intersection of executive relationship management, program strategy, and creative ambition. You know how to earn the trust of a Fortune 500 CDO, design experiences executives want to be part of, navigate complex brand and legal approvals, and orchestrate a cross-functional team from concept through launch. You are equally comfortable facilitating a room of senior technology leaders and in a working session with a creative agency, and you operate with a bias toward bold ideas, a high tolerance for ambiguity, and a deep commitment to making the customer the hero.
This role reports to the Director of Customer Marketing and partners closely with Brand, Creative, Media, Events, PR, Product Marketing, Social, Web, and Sales teams, as well as Snowflake's external agency partners.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own the strategy and end-to-end execution of Snowflake's customer advocacy programs, including billboard activations, LA28 customer activation, the Black Diamond Council, and Alpine Club

  • Lead billboard strategy and activation, identifying customer stories through creative development, customer approvals, media placement, launch, and amplification

  • Develop and execute Snowflake's LA28 customer activation strategy, designing differentiated experiences and storytelling moments that engage strategic customers and showcase their innovation

  • Lead engagement and strategic programming for the Black Diamond Council, Snowflake's executive-level Customer Advisory Board, including in-person meetings, virtual sessions, member communications, and recruitment

  • Translate Black Diamond Council insights into actionable recommendations that inform Snowflake's business, product, and marketing strategy

  • Oversee Alpine Club strategy, planning, and execution, recognizing and elevating Snowflake's most strategic customers through long-term, multi-faceted brand partnerships

  • Build program frameworks, activation calendars, and repeatable processes that ensure consistency, quality, and impact across all advocacy programs and regions

  • Put the customer first by building trusted, long-term relationships with senior executives at Snowflake's top customers and creating experiences and stories that deliver mutual value

  • Serve as a strategic partner to Sales, using high-visibility programs and executive engagement to strengthen relationships with strategic accounts and support retention, expansion, and growth

  • Serve as the central orchestrator across Brand, Creative, Media, Events, PR, Product Marketing, Social, and Web, owning timelines, dependencies, budgets, and launch readiness

  • Track, analyze, and report on program performance and impact; deliver regular program updates to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL HAVE

  • A customer-obsessed mindset with an instinct for the stories and experiences that move markets - and the patience and persistence to bring them to life

  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives, including CIOs, CDOs, and communications leads, at enterprise-scale organizations

  • Strong understanding of the customer lifecycle and the role customer marketing and advocacy play across acquisition, expansion, and retention

  • Deep experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder advocacy programs, executive programs, or integrated campaigns from strategy through launch

  • Exceptional program and project management skills, with the ability to run multiple high-visibility programs and orchestrate cross-functional teams simultaneously

  • Strong strategic judgment - you know which customers, stories, and moments are ready to go big, and you know how to get them there

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to executives both internally and externally

  • Experience managing agency and vendor relationships and budgets, and translating creative feedback effectively

  • Highly organized, self-directed, and effective operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION

  • 8+ years of experience in customer marketing, customer advocacy, executive programs, or integrated campaign management in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology

  • Experience building and running a Customer Advisory Board or executive community program for senior technology leaders

  • A track record of delivering high-profile brand moments, such as billboard and out-of-home campaigns, major sporting event or sponsorship activations, and marquee event programs featuring recognizable customer brands

  • Familiarity with corporate communications dynamics and the sensitivities of co-marketing with publicly traded or privacy-conscious enterprise brands

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

  • Experience with Google Suite, Salesforce, Tableau, and Wrike

LET’S DO THIS!
The Snowflake Customer Marketing team is a small, tight-knit, dynamic group responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships to drive retention, loyalty, and advocacy. These programs represent the pinnacle of that work - putting Snowflake's most strategic customers at the center of our most iconic moments, from billboards to LA28 to the executive boardroom. We're looking for someone who wants to build something, not just manage it. If you want to shape the stories that define how the world sees the AI Data Cloud, we want to hear from you.
Every Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company’s confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data. Snowflake employees must abide by the company’s data security plan as an essential part of their duties. It is every employee’s duty to keep customer information secure and confidential.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
