About the Role

The Senior Data Strategy Analyst supports Fusable's Data Transformation function by delivering the analysis, standards, and insight that drive strategic and operational decisions at Fusable. This person sets the baselines and SLAs we measure our data against, ties data gaps to commercial metrics, documents the standards our teams build to, and turns data performance into clear, executive-ready insight.

Core Responsibilities

Coverage, Freshness, and Commercial Impact. Establish consistent baselines for coverage, freshness, on-time delivery (OTD), and data quality across all six Fusable brands (CAB, EDA, RigDig, Iron Solutions, EquipmentWatch, and Price Digests). Partner with Core Data Operations on measurement, prioritize gaps with the Senior Director of Data Transformation, and size sourcing and partnership options by cost and return.

Automation, Scale, and Margin. Identify and rank automation opportunities across ingestion, curation, and delivery. Build business cases from cost, cycle time, expected gains, and prerequisites; write requirements for engineering; and track results after launch.

SLAs and Data as a Product. Turn baselines into dataset freshness and delivery SLAs for each brand. Partner with Sales and Customer Success to communicate them, publish data quality metrics, and create a customer feedback loop.

Standards and Governance. Own data standards, readiness criteria, source specifications, and workflow documentation. Identify processes ready for automation, write requirements, and align Operations, Product, and Engineering. Support Fusable's governance framework, including lineage, source-license controls, quality incident logging, and data-use governance.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in data analysis, business analysis, or data strategy
  • Hands-on experience defining and measuring data quality metrics (accuracy, completeness, freshness, timeliness) in a production data environment
  • Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to build dashboards and interpret large, complex datasets (SQL; Power BI or similar BI tool preferred)
  • Track record of documenting data standards, definitions, or governance policies and getting cross-functional teams to adopt them
  • Comfortable working directly with engineering and product to scope and document data requirements
  • Writes clearly for executives: can turn a complex analysis into a short, decision-ready recommendation
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks (such as DAMA-DMBOK) or master data management tools (such as Reltio) preferred
  • Experience in SaaS, DaaS, information services, analytics, or market intelligence organizations preferred
