We are looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer to extend our existing infrastructure for high availability, rapid deployment, security and supportability. In this role, you will help design and implement technology solutions to host and support our mission critical applications. We must be available at all times and be alerted immediately when an issue occurs. We believe in building the right product, we believe in using best practices, we believe in everybody's input. You will help drive us to a continuously delivered micro service environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 7-9+ years of experience working at a Cloud/SaaS company.
Requirements:
- Lead the design and implementation elastically scalable solutions
- Define and abide by stringent security standards
- Design for business continuity
- Build environments from the ground up with security and performance built inImplement monitoring, metrics and alerts
- Ensure we are using the most appropriate technologies
- Work well in an Agile/Scrum environment, but also be responsive to urgent requests
- Maintain a high standard of work quality and encourage others to do the same
- Energetic individual with enthusiasm to learn new tools, technologies & processes
Must Have:
- Hands on Linux experience
- Expert level AWS experience
- Expert knowledge of micro services
- Experience with High Availability environments
- 4+ years experience with setting up and maintaining cloud environments
- Experience with database usage and management
- SQL and NoSQL experience
Nice to Have:
- Experience building and supporting a 5-9s environment
- Experience with a streaming infrastructure
- Experience with auto scalable micro services
- Experience with Terraform
- Familiarity with JIRA is a plus
- OWASP or CISSP experience
- Experience with ECS/Fargate
