We are looking for a Principal Marketing Analyst to join our Marketing Operations & Analytics team and play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the marketing organization. This is a highly autonomous senior individual contributor role and the first dedicated marketing analytics hire, responsible for independently owning and evolving StackAdapt’s marketing analytics program end to end.

You will own key marketing analytics systems, deliver actionable insights through reporting and deep-dive analyses, and act as a coach and thought partner to marketers across regions and channels.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical rigor, a passion for uncovering insights, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that influence strategy and execution. You’ll report into the Director of Marketing Operations and Analytics.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Marketing Analytics Ownership & Tool Management: Own and manage StackAdapt’s marketing analytics tooling, including Hockeystack and Hubspot reporting, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with marketing and revenue objectives. Partner with Marketing Operations to continuously improve tracking, attribution, and reporting capabilities.
  • Monthly Marketing Reporting: Produce and deliver recurring monthly marketing performance reports by region and channel, providing clear insights to senior marketing leaders into funnel performance, ROI, and trends across demand generation, brand, and lifecycle initiatives. 
  • Data Deep Dives & Insights: Conduct in-depth analyses to identify performance trends, growth opportunities, and areas for optimization across campaigns, channels, and regions. Translate findings into actionable recommendations that inform strategy, budget allocation, and execution.
  • Insight Storytelling & Stakeholder Enablement: Synthesize complex data into clear, concise narratives tailored to different audiences, including marketing leadership, regional teams, and cross-functional partners. Support strategic planning through data-backed insights and forecasts.
  • Analytics Coaching & Enablement: Act as a coach and advisor to marketers across the organization, helping teams improve data literacy, interpret performance metrics, and apply insights to day-to-day decision-making. Enable a culture of self-serve analytics and continuous optimization.
What You'll Bring to the Table
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, growth/digital, marketing operations, or a related analytics role within B2B SaaS, AdTech, or a high-growth technology company
  • Strong hands-on experience with marketing analytics and attribution tools. Experience with reporting in Google Analytics, Salesforce, Hubspot, & Hockeystack is a plus.
  • Proven ability to deliver recurring executive-ready reporting as well as deep-dive analyses that drive strategic decision-making
  • Deep understanding of the B2B marketing funnel, from awareness through revenue, with the ability to connect marketing activity to business outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working across large, complex datasets
  • Ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience coaching or enabling marketing teams on data analysis, measurement, and performance optimization
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills
 

The compensation range listed for this role reflects the expected base salary for candidates located in Ontario, Canada. It is informed by market data and the approved budget for this position. StackAdapt maintains different compensation ranges for roles across other countries and regions, and final offers will be aligned to the candidate’s current location.

This range represents base salary only. Depending on the role, candidates may also be eligible for additional compensation such as annual bonuses, commissions, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Factors Influencing Final Compensation:

  • The final compensation offer will be determined by a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to: the candidate's specific experience, technical skills, knowledge, abilities, and relevant education, licensure, and certifications.
  • Other business factors, such as organizational needs and budget alignment, may also be considered in the final offer.

$114,400$135,850 CAD
