Job Description: 

We are searching for an accomplished and strategic Principal Product Manager to lead the development of cutting-edge AI and ML applications, with a primary emphasis on fraud detection and prevention. The ideal candidate will bring a highly extensive background in building and scaling Machine Learning products, with deep expertise in fraud detection solutions strongly preferred. 

In this role, you will partner with engineering, data science, claims, and fraud teams to create and deliver advanced AI/ML-powered products that elevate GEICO’s fraud prevention and investigation capabilities. You will drive the product strategy, prioritization, and execution of high-impact machine learning initiatives, ensuring measurable results and visibility across the organization. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch AI/ML applications, prioritizing impactful fraud detection and investigative solutions. 

  • Translate strategic business objectives into actionable product requirements and roadmaps for AI/ML-powered products. 

  • Identify and champion opportunities to implement intelligent automation and agentic workflows for scalable fraud prevention. 

  • Integrate platform ML capabilities with real-world fraud detection use cases to maximize business and customer impact. 

  • Establish and monitor key success metrics, such as fraud detection accuracy, resolution speed, adoption, and model performance. 

  • Collaborate closely with engineering and machine learning teams to refine model orchestration, analytics, and product development processes. 

  • Promote best practices in AI/ML product management and foster fraud detection expertise across the organization. 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Product Management, with a strong track record in developing and scaling Machine Learning products 

  • Demonstrated success in building consumer-facing web and mobile applications, with a customer-centric and ownership mindset 

  • Experience managing the product lifecycle from ideation through delivery and scaling 

  • Expertise in using quantitative and qualitative data to inform product decisions and drive innovation 

  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with comfort engaging senior business and technology stakeholders 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • MBA or equivalent experience 

  • Extensive experience in architecting and launching AI/ML or automation products, with a significant focus on fraud detection and prevention 

  • Deep knowledge of applying large language models (LLMs), agents, and intelligent systems to fraud detection workflows 

  • Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in machine learning and product innovation 

  • Strong business acumen and a demonstrated ability to link AI/ML solutions to concrete business outcomes 


 

Annual Salary

$131,200.00 - $229,600.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
