Overview:

We're seeking a Principal Product Manager with real estate expertise and deep knowledge of CRE finance or operations to join our product team. This role requires someone who understands how real estate deals work from the ground up - from property valuation and risk assessment to acquisition analysis and investment decision-making. Alternatively someone who has deep CRE asset management or operational experience will also be a valued candidate.

You'll be responsible for building products that serve the world's largest real estate owners, operators, and investors who rely on our platform to make critical financial and operational decisions. Your real estate background will be essential in understanding user workflows, identifying product opportunities, and ensuring our solutions align with how the industry actually operates.


Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. 

  • Drive Product Strategy: Shape product roadmap based on deep understanding of real estate investment and operational workflows
  • Build for Financial Decision-Making: Develop features that support property valuation, due diligence, risk assessment, and portfolio optimization
  • Understand User Context: Leverage your real estate experience to identify pain points in acquisition analysis, asset management, and investment processes
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work directly with customers who manage billions in real estate assets to understand their analytical needs
  • Guide Data Product Development: Ensure our sustainability data products deliver the investment-grade insights that drive real estate decisions
  • Bridge Domain and Product Expertise: Translate complex real estate finance requirements into clear product specifications and user experiences


Education & Experience:

  • 8-10 years in product management with a track record of shipping successful B2B products
  • Strong real estate finance background with hands-on experience in:
    • Deal Analysis: Underwriting properties, building financial models, analyzing cash flows and returns
    • Property Valuation: Understanding DCF models, cap rates, comparable analysis, and valuation methodologies
    • Risk Assessment: Evaluating market risk, tenant risk, operational risk, and investment risk factors
    • Investment Decision-Making: Experience in acquisition processes, due diligence, and portfolio strategy
    • Operational Experience: Property and portfolio management, including lease administration, tenant relations, capital improvements planning, budget management, and performance optimization across real estate assets
Ideal Background Includes
  • Real Estate Investment: Private equity, asset management, investment management, or fund management
  • Commercial Lending: Debt origination, underwriting, or loan servicing with focus on financial analysis
  • Real Estate Analysis: Appraisal, consulting, research, or analytics roles involving property evaluation
  • Capital Markets: REIT analysis, real estate securities, or institutional real estate investment
