As Principal Product Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact with creative storytelling to drive the next chapter of growth at Vendia. We are at the forefront of enabling end-to-end visibility in a multi-enterprise environment, with an innovative solution for real-time and trusted multi-party data sharing, powered by our patented distributed and serverless blockchain technology.

The Principal Product Marketing Manager will work with our Sales, Solutions Architects, Solution Consulting and Product teams to position, message, and brand Vendia’s platform and solutions. You will own customer-facing assets, drive our presence on digital channels like website, social and media, engage with analysts, enable sales, as well as manage customer advocacy.

You will be a member of our marketing team – a player/coach, with the ability and interest to initially drive outcomes directly while influencing other teams and functions. This role will report directly to the CMO and will have key responsibilities for company-level OKRs, including adoption, pipeline, and revenue.

As Principal Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Defining and executing strategies needed to reach different customer segments: listen to users and prospects and work to get qualitative and quantitative insights that inform your work (messaging, positioning, etc.) to attract, convert and retain customers. You understand and enable the entire lifecycle of our relationship with customers.

  • Developing and evolving product positioning, messaging, and associated content (e.g., sales tools, web content, case studies, etc.) informed by user research, market insights, and understanding of our industry and customer buying process.

  • Developing, running and analyzing experiments with GTM teams to uncover non-linear scaling motions.

  • Advocating for our existing and prospective users, being informed about our competitive landscape, and influencing our product vision and strategy.

  • Working closely with a range of cross-functional teams—sales, solution consulting, solution architects, product management, design, and engineering—to develop go-to-market strategy and drive launches for our products.

  • Driving our analyst and influencer relationships, from top tier analysts like Gartner, to industry influencers in the technology and business applications markets.

  • Helping drive GTM motions with technology and services partners.

You are:

  • A strategic, result-driven marketer, with understanding of various aspects of marketing. You are eager to make an impact, thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment, and can operate fluidly between the big picture and small tasks, while never losing sight of results.

  • A team player. You're able to align cross-functional teams towards a common objective, partnering closely with sales, customer success, product, design, etc., and nurturing warm relationships across every functional team.

  • Both data-driven and intuitive. You know the market and competitive landscape, can sense where the market is going, and build hypotheses based on research and data, to drive internal alignment on product and GTM strategy.

  • A great player / coach. You have the ability and interest to drive outcomes directly, and you also have the experience to mentor and influence other marketing functions. You know how to set the goals and priorities, and provide mentorship and support.

  • Highly organized and articulate. You work at a fast pace and know what's going on across the business. You can clearly articulate both the business priorities and how the team will support company objectives.

  • Metric-driven with excellent analytical and project management skills.

  • Fluent in English, both writing and speaking.

  • Familiar with and effective at working on a remote or distributed team.

You have:

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience — marketing, product marketing, product management, strategy consulting.

  • 7+ years of specific product marketing or go-to-market experience.

  • Experience in B2B SaaS and data technology marketing working closely with sales teams.

  • Passion for innovative technology, empathy for the people who use it, and a global outlook is strongly preferred.
