Job Description

We’re looking for a Principal GTM Recruiter to join our growing team in Austin and play a key role in building the talent foundation for Wise’s continued growth across the Americas. In this role, you’ll partner closely with senior GTM and People leaders to shape hiring strategy, attract exceptional talent, and build the teams that help us deliver for customers across the region.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role for a recruiter who can move seamlessly between strategy and execution. You’ll lead complex searches, develop long-term talent plans, bring market insight and data into hiring decisions, and help build a recruiting approach that is scalable, inclusive, and closely connected to Wise’s mission.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead GTM recruiting strategy across the Americas, translating business priorities into clear talent plans, sourcing strategies, pipeline health goals, and hiring outcomes.
  • Partner with senior GTM and People leaders as a trusted talent advisor, using market insight, compensation data, funnel metrics, and sound judgment to shape hiring decisions.
  • Own senior, specialized, and business-critical searches where the talent market is competitive, the profile is nuanced, and the hiring bar is high.
  • Build long-term, diverse talent pipelines across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Account Management, Customer Success, Operations, Revenue Operations, and other functions.
  • Bring market intelligence into the hiring process through talent mapping, competitor insight, candidate feedback, and data-driven recommendations.
  • Design creative sourcing strategies that go beyond standard channels, including communities, referrals, events, market-specific campaigns, and targeted outreach.
  • Create a thoughtful, transparent, and high-quality candidate experience that reflects Wise’s mission, culture, and hiring bar.
  • Partner with Employer Brand, Marketing, and People teams to strengthen Wise’s presence with GTM talent across the Americas through campaigns, events, and market storytelling.
  • Use recruiting data to identify bottlenecks, improve funnel conversion, strengthen pipeline quality, and help hiring teams make better decisions.
  • Contribute to scalable recruiting practices, including interview calibration, salary benchmarking, hiring manager enablement, talent mapping, and process improvement.
  • Serve as a talent multiplier by mentoring recruiting teammates, sharing best practices, strengthening sourcing and stakeholder management craft, and helping raise the quality and consistency of hiring across the team.
  • Partner closely across Recruiting, People Partners, Compensation, and business teams to create a seamless, connected hiring experience from workforce planning through offer, close, and onboarding handoff.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with deep expertise hiring GTM talent in high-growth or complex environments.
  • Proven success owning senior, specialized, or business-critical searches in competitive talent markets.
  • Strong talent advisory skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders using market insight, data, and sound judgment.
  • Deep sourcing expertise, including experience building diverse, high-quality pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Strong data fluency, with the ability to diagnose funnel challenges, communicate tradeoffs, and improve hiring outcomes.
  • High ownership and a builder mindset, with experience improving recruiting practices, processes, and hiring quality.
