We are looking for a Principal Solution Engineer to work with the sales organization to cultivate new opportunities and secure new customers. You will drive account solutions strategy, architect innovative solutions, and overcome technical obstacles to win deals and will act as a bridge between complex products and customer needs.
This position requires a seasoned sales and solution engineer professional with solid technical skills. Candidates must have good communication skills and enterprise software pre-sales experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand prospect’s business and complex technical requirements and craft an overall solution vision demonstrating our fit and value from customer requirements.
  • Create innovative technology focused solutions of our software in a pre-sales environment.
  • Develop and deliver value-based demonstrations of our software and related applications, of both standard and customized product value.
  • Develop and present proof of concepts (POCs) to demonstrate product feasibility.
  • Manage sales follow-up, meetings, proposal and internal account planning through the sales cycle.
  • Bridge the gap between business needs and technical capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Sales Teams to discuss, strategy, pipeline and opportunities.
  • Drive the technical deal signoff process with Sales, Product Management and Engineering.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of field or technical sales experience in enterprise software.
  • Proficiency in one of the following areas:
    • Digital Rights Management
    • Windows or Linux administration
    • System Management
    • Enterprise Security
    • ERP, PLM, or related
    • GRC
    • Information Lifecycle Management
    • Database and BI
    • Identity Access Management
  • Working knowledge of security infrastructure is a plus.
  • Strong product presentation skills.
  • Experience with developing Demos and running POC.
  • Good customer interaction skills and ability to analyze complex problems, interpret customer requirements and create actionable technical plans.
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
