Scopely is looking for a Principal Technical Product Manager to join an Unannounced Title working with External Development in the US on a remote or hybrid basis, working 3 days a week from our Culver hub.

We are in the early stages of development on an ambitious, unannounced AAA mobile game, and we’re assembling a team of passionate game makers to craft unforgettable characters and immersive adventures that players will love.


What You Will Do 

  • Drive the vision and strategy for scalable game services while providing clear, actionable specs for engineers to execute.
  • Partner cross-functionally with the game team, central tech, data science, and operations to define high-leverage product opportunities.
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative inputs, including user behavior analytics, research data, marketing trend analysis, and industry benchmarks to optimize product and decision-making.
  • Drive the full lifecycle of major tech feature development, including architecture design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance, working closely with stakeholders across disciplines.
  • Create compelling proposals for new features and capabilities for game and tech teams to utilize.
  • Address risks and leverage opportunities in newly released features and existing features.

What We’re Looking For 

  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience with at least 3 years in Product Management or engineering. 
  • Bachelor's degree (or relevant degree equivalent): STEM subject ideal but not essential (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences).
  • Experience leading cross-functional product team(s) across a full product line: Crafting product mission and strategy, defining product requirements, coordinating resources from other groups (engineering, marketing, legal, etc.), and driving the team to achieve key milestones and goals.
  • Proven track record in end-to-end engineering of large-scale platforms optimized for performance, scalability, and KPI outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in analyzing complex, large-scale data to guide strategic decisions. Adept at integrating diverse user needs and contextual variables into a cohesive, outcome-driven product strategy.
  • Demonstrated expertise in technical communication: able to distill complex engineering concepts, architectures, and analytical findings into clear, actionable messages that align diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passionate about games!

Bonus Points 

  • Experience in architecting and implementing scalable server frameworks.
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying high-priority compliance and data governance regulations across major territories.
  • Experience applying AI in game development.

For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY, and WA, the annual salary range is provided below. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
