We're looking for a Principle UX & UI Designer who will play a pivotal role in transforming the digital experiences across Curology.com and WithAgency.com. This is not your average design role—we’re seeking a strategic and visionary thinker who can bridge exceptional user experience design with aspirational branding, personalization, and next-gen UI trends, especially as we evolve in the age of AI.

Our sites today are functional but they’re not where they could be. Your mission: help us raise the bar. We need a digital experience that is as inspiring, seamless, and personalized as the products we deliver.

This is a high-impact player/coach role tied directly to key business milestones for 2025 and beyond.

Essential Duties and Job Functions

  • Lead UX strategy and design across Curology and Agency websites - from discovery and sign-up flows to post-purchase journeys and account dashboards.
  • Reimagine our sign-up/intake flow from a transactional process to an aspirational, emotionally resonant, and personalized experience that reflects our brand values.
  • Leverage data, behavioral insights, and design intuition to create tailored, high-converting UX for subscription and prescription-based digital products.
  • Champion a personalization-first approach, building modular design systems that can adapt to different customer needs, preferences, and journeys.
  • Stay close to emerging technologies and infuse AI/ML capabilities into the UX vision (e.g., adaptive flows, smart nudges, dynamic content).
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Brand, Growth, and Engineering to prioritize initiatives and execute with velocity.
  • Establish and scale UX best practices, frameworks, and documentation to support a growing design culture.

Requirements
  • 8+ years in UX/UI roles with consumer-facing brands
  • Deep background in subscription, prescription, or telehealth businesses
  • Demonstrated aspirational design mindset—emotionally resonant, story-driven UX
  • Strong background in personalized UX (segmentation, dynamic content, adaptive flows)
  • Exposure to or implementation of AI-driven UX (predictive UI, smart nudges, chat UX)
  • Fluency with Figma
  • Portfolio must show end-to-end flows with measurable business impact (e.g., conversion)
  • Look for those who’ve partnered directly with Growth and understand UX + performance

Preferred experience

  • Worked in beauty, wellness, or skincare tech
  • Familiarity with Contentful or other headless CMS
  • Experience building or contributing to a design system
  • Growth mindset: A/B testing tools

Benefits

You Will Love Working At Curology Because:

  • Competitive salary and equity packages
  • Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees; flexible spending account; 401k; mental health & wellness programs
  • Minimum Time Off policy (unlimited PTO, with at least 3 weeks off) for exempt employees
  • 11 company observed holidays
  • Additional holidays: Curology days off (1 per quarter), 1 annual floating holiday (employee’s choice), and Gratitude Week (employees take the full week of Thanksgiving off; business critical teams observe different days)
  • Paid parental leave
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Employee donation matching program
  • Company-sponsored events
  • Free subscription to Curology or Agency (for you and another VIP of your choice!)

Salary Range: $200k-$220k (placement in range dependent on location and experience)
