Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Principal Wireless/RF Engineer to work on challenging programs in support of advanced electronic sub-systems for Radar, Electronic Warfare and Missile applications ranging from MHz to 40GHz. This role requires strong RF technical knowledge coupled with strong communication skills. 


Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform RF hardware design, requirements specification compliance analysis, RF simulations (Microwave Office, HFSS), design validation, product integration oversight and transition to production support.
  • Technical lead for projects guiding a team of highly skilled engineers with diverse RF, analog and testing experience to achieve technical compliance within schedule and budget.
  • Technical lead for proposals.
  • Provide labor estimates for both recurring and non-recurring engineering. 
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 5+ years related experience designing and developing advanced miniature microwave subsystems and components.
  • Experience with linear, non-linear, and EM simulations.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.   

WE VALUE

  • Direct DoD experience designing converters and synthesizers up to 40 GHz.
  • Experience with ADS, MWO, HFSS, and Sonnet.
  • Prior successful project engineering experience is a plus.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The annual base salary range for this position is $194K - $242K. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
