Our Slack community Privacy Basecamp brings together over 1,300 privacy experts from across the world. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Customer Marketing, you’ll transform our space into the premiere virtual destination for peer to peer knowledge sharing on privacy. In this part-time (20hr/week) role, you’ll partner with individual champions to build confidence sharing privacy leadership, help privacy managers find the next role in their careers, and organize community events to strengthen relationships across the community.

The Skill Set:
  • Build meaningful relationships with industry experts, support their individual professional ambitions, and help them connect. 
  • Track privacy news, job listings, and resources from across the web and maintain a content calendar within the Slack community. 
  • Facilitate content creation & community contribution from community champions through efficiently managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Plan, organize, and co-host virtual events to bring the community together. 
  • Identify blog & social media content ideas from community discussions and synthesize community member perspectives to create thought-provoking articles. 
  • Partner with DataGrail teams across Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Sales to add value to the Basecamp member experience. 
Within 90 days:
  • Build 1:1 relationships with our strongest data privacy champions and coordinate planned engagement initiatives. 
  • Host 3 virtual events to engage community members in real-time.
  • Proactively surface privacy news and exciting new perspectives within the privacy community
  • Distribute engagement incentives to reward strong community participation with the goal of increasing the number of posting members by 20%.
  • Collaborate closely within Marketing and across Product, Sales, and Customer Success to connect community members with advocacy opportunities, advance marketing leads if applicable, and flag product feedback
Within 180 days:
  • Enable community members to launch virtual meetups in their regions. 
  • Match community members to highly relevant engagement opportunities such as networking dinners and speaking opportunities to ensure 100% attendance at these events
  • Launch a mentorship and/or gamification system to further nurture strong engagement.
  • Develop unique experiences for DataGrail customers within the Privacy Basecamp community. 
Within 365 days:
  • Transform the Privacy Basecamp slack community to a self-sustaining privacy think tank. 
  • Scale and mature 1:1 relationship building with community members.
  • Develop and execute community programs that facilitate networking, enable customer advocacy, and ultimately expand DataGrail’s visibility in the wider privacy industry

This is a part-time, non-exempt, hourly position. The hourly rate range below is a guideline and the final rate will be based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies.

Part-time roles are eligible for remote-first working environment, flexible time off, paid holidays, 401k savings plan, and a work from home stipend. Benefits are subject to change.
