Job Description

Turner & Townsend are looking for a Procurement Consultant to support a large-scale Data Center construction project. The ideal candidate has great communication skills and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:  

  • Coordinating requests for quotes with manufacturers
  • Executing quotes in conjunction with stakeholders
  • OSP Shortage Mitigation: Managing risks and constraints in the OSP supply chain.
  • Logistics Oversight: Resolving critical, real-time onsite delivery queries.
  • Financial Controls: Conducting regular cost variance and budget checks.
  • Issue Resolution: Tracking kick-off bugs and driving PCG/TEC resolutions.
  • EMEA/APAC Deployment: Overseeing the ongoing regional OFCI implementation.
  • Vendor Alignment: Leading strategic syncs with key manufacturers.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable. 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred. 
    • Minimum 5 years of applicable experience.
    • Strong experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP. 
    • Programming experience such as SQL, VBA, or Python is required. 
    • Prior people management experience.
    • Proficiency in data engineering, including an ability to work closely with subject matter experts. 
    • Detail oriented with the ability to work with speed and accuracy. 
    • Passion for creating innovative approaches to solve abstract business problems. 
    • Ability to infer realistic business and supply chain implications from data and model results. 
    • Advanced skills with spreadsheets, charts, and presentations. 
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Experience in Data Center construction preferred.

    Additional Information

    The salary range for this full-time role is $145K-$165K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.  Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
