Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B) to support the Fabrication South Carolina Aerostructures (FSCA) Quality Team based out of Orangeburg, South Carolina.
We are looking for a teammate that has extensive product inspection experience, problem-solving skills and is process improvement driven. This teammate will be providing education and will mentor on the Quality Management System (QMS), developing and managing relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners, and suppliers. Position Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine product conformity inspections to design requirements
  • Performs complex part inspections on electrical, structural and or aircraft systems part assemblies
  • Provides objective evidence of inspection results
  • Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies
  • Segregates and controls non-conforming items
  • Support and provide oversight within the production system
  • Must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry
  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Willing to work overtime when needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace Quality, or an equivalent regulated industry.
  • 1+ years of experience in conducting Compliance, Root Cause Corrective Action
  • Knowledge of Standard work and how to write and maintain Standard work.
  • Boeing 7 series Aircraft experience

Shift:
Successful candidate will start on 2nd shift. This position does require the ability to work on a variable shift (shift 4). Variable shift means you will be assigned a shift at the time of hire based on business needs. You will remain on your assigned work shift until a re-evaluation is required. Shifts assigned for training may differ from your permanent work shift.

Summary Pay Range: $55,500 - $65,500
