Filmhub is seeking a creative Product Designer to elevate our software into a user-friendly, visually stunning product.

As a Product Designer focused on the consumer experience, you'll play a key role in shaping how our movies and shows reach and engage audiences across streaming platforms. You’ll take ownership of high-impact initiatives and bring consumer-facing features to life, helping viewers and our filmmakers benefit from thoughtful design.

You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Acquisition teams to bring elegant, scalable solutions to life that support discovery, streaming optimization, and insights.

What will I be doing? 💡

You’ll be at the forefront of revolutionizing film distribution, helping filmmakers share their stories with the world and audiences watch movies and shows in groundbreaking ways.

  • Design intuitive, engaging experiences that help global audiences discover, explore, and connect with the films and series available through Filmhub — from title pages and browsing to viewer insights and promotional moments.

  • Translating user needs into exciting, intuitive designs using Figma or similar tools.

  • Designing and shipping end-to-end features in partnership with PMs and engineers

  • Balancing qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and improve UX

  • Conducting user research and usability tests to validate design decisions

  • Helping evolve and maintain a scalable design system

What skills do I need? 📖
  • 4+ years of experience designing consumer-facing products, preferably in media, streaming, or creator platforms

  • Strong portfolio showcasing product design work and problem-solving approach

  • Fluency in user-centered design processes and usability best practices

  • Confidence using Figma and prototyping tools

  • Experience with data-informed design decisions, A/B testing, and analytics tools

  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment: adaptable, curious, proactive

How can I stand out? 🤩
  • Experience designing for media/entertainment platforms (TVOD, AVOD, SVOD)

  • A detailed portfolio highlighting your work

  • Motion or interaction design chops

  • Prior work in global consumer products

  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and balancing competing needs (consumer, producer, platform)

Compensation:

At Filmhub, we take a transparent, structured approach to compensation. Offers are based on market data, your experience, location, and how the role fits within our leveling framework. Compensation includes base salary, equity, and benefits, with clear opportunities for growth. We believe you shouldn't have to get to the offer stage to know what a role pays. This position is expected to fall within L3 through L6 in our leveling structure, though we treat that as a guideline rather than a cutoff — candidates at higher or lower levels are welcome to apply, and we'll evaluate fit based on experience and where we are as a team.
