Company Description

Whirl AI helps Enterprise IT organizations deliver business change faster. Our platform gives enterprise teams AI agents grounded in a deep, continuously updated understanding of how their systems actually work - compressing discovery and documentation from weeks to hours without sacrificing quality or control. We are early-stage, moving fast, and building the team that will define how Enterprise IT operates in the AI era.

Role Description
We're looking for a senior product designer to own the full design surface of the product. You'll work directly with the founders and engineers, with no layers between you and the decisions that matter. This is a builder's role: you'll go from a rough idea to a shipped feature, then watch how early customers use it and iterate again. We're looking for someone who can move fast and bring seasoned judgement to a still-being-defined product.

What you'll do

  • Own product design: research, flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, and usability testing across the whole product.
  • Partner directly with founders and engineers to work through ambiguity and create elegant solutions
  • Talk to early customers, sit in on their workflows, and translate what you learn into product decisions.
  • Build for right now, while understanding how designs will need to evolve as we scale
  • Make pragmatic tradeoffs with engineering and understand the scope of the work you are requesting to make realistic decisions
  • Shape brand and marketing surfaces as needed.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years as a product designer, having shipped full applications end-to-end (ideally as a founding, early, or lead design hire).
  • Full-stack design skills, from user research through pixel-perfect UI.
  • A builder mentality: prototype and test over writing long specs.
  • You bring structure to undefined problems and are comfortable wearing many hats
  • Strong Figma craft, plus enough HTML/CSS fluency to speak engineers' language.
  • A self-starter instinct, you are proactive and spot opportunities for impact rather than waiting for assignments

Why Join us

  • Own meaningful technical decisions at the ground floor of an AI company targeting a massive market
  • Work directly with founders and have immediate, visible impact
  • Competitive compensation including equity and benefits (100% employer-paid health plan coverage for employees)

Whirl AI is committed to equal employment opportunity. All hiring decisions are made on the basis of qualifications, merit, and business need - never on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

We build better products because our team doesn't all think the same way, and we want that to keep being true. Show up as yourself. We can't wait to meet you.
