The Product Designer will develop Krea's design system, create new UI specs, collaborate with teams to ship products, and simplify AI workflow interfaces.

Krea is building a creative platform for exceptional artists, designers, and studios to realize ambitious visions that were previously impossible or prohibitively time-intensive.

UI/UX design is essential to what we do: Artists can only get the results they desire if they can control our models in highly nuanced but intuitive ways, and this requires inventing brand new types of interfaces and UX patterns that make this powerful new technology approachable.

We're looking for a Product Designer to play a core role in all aspects of our UI/UX, ranging from refining our design system to conceiving of brand new experiences entirely.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and extend Krea's design system: components, styles, tokens, documentation

  • Craft polished, production-ready UI specs for engineering

  • Work closely with product leadership and engineers to ship quickly and ensure quality

  • Design completely new types of creative interfaces to give artists unprecedented control over a wide library of different AI models

  • Make complex AI workflows feel simple

What We're Looking For
  • 2–3+ years of UI design experience, ideally with startup exposure

  • Figma mastery—you should be a 10/10. Deep fluency in styles, variants, auto-layout, component architecture, and design system maintenance

  • Obsessive attention to detail. Meticulous, organized, craft-driven. We need someone who can work through all the edge cases

  • Solid grasp of user flows, interaction patterns, and UX fundamentals

  • Deep interest in and experience using AI creative tools. For example, you should know what LORAs are and have a good sense of how to prompt models well. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about this space and wants to play a role in shaping it.

Your Portfolio Should Show
  • Systematic thinking: component libraries, style guides, design systems you've built or maintained

  • Precision: clean, well-organized Figma files with clear specs

  • End-to-end UI work: flows, states, edge cases—not just hero screens

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
