The Purpose:
We’re seeking a full-stack product designer interested in unlocking the equity in a beloved brand to create a deeply compelling social commerce experience for a mass consumer market. This role works nose-to-tail, balancing data-driven hypotheses with strong intuition and behavioral design approaches. Join a small team with a big impact as we chart the future of community-based shopping.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with product managers and engineers to transform requirements into engaging product experiences
- Create flows, mockups, and prototypes
- Collaborate with other designers to evolve our brand assets and build out our design system
- Share early and often, gather feedback, and iterate
- Move with passion and urgency to challenge assumptions, drive alignment, and solve problems
- Embrace the opportunity to own decisions, build community, and grow as a designer
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience as a product designer working on a cross-functional team regularly releasing product features
- Passion for engaging design solutions that utilize game mechanics and emotional design techniques
- Systems thinker, who embraces patterns and thinks end-to-end
- Experience with design systems and inclusive design practices
- Bias towards action, with the ability to move with urgency and focus
- Love of crafting simple solutions to challenging problems
- Team player who believes that the sum is greater than the parts
Hybrid schedule visiting our San Mateo, CA office three days a week (Tues-Thurs).
