Sanas is pioneering the future of human communication. Founded by a team of Stanford researchers and entrepreneurs with deep industry experience, Sanas has developed the world's first real-time speech AI platform capable of accent translation, noise cancellation, speech enhancement, cross-language communication, and more.
Sanas makes conversations clearer, more inclusive, and more effective, removing barriers that prevent people from being understood, regardless of accent, background noise, or native language.
Sanas is currently one of the fastest growing startups in Silicon Valley, growing from $16M to $50M ARR in 2025. The company's core business is profitable and is on track to end 2026 with >$120M ARR. Our team combines deep expertise in model innovation and systems engineering with a design-minded product engineering culture to build and ship cutting-edge AI models and experiences — entirely in-house.
Sanas is a 180-strong team, established in 2020. In this short span, we've successfully secured over $100 million in funding. Our innovation has been supported by the industry's leading investors, including Insight Partners, Google Ventures, Quadrille Capital, General Catalyst, Quiet Capital, and other influential investors. Our reputation is further solidified by collaborations with numerous Fortune 100 companies. With Sanas, you're not just adopting a product; you're investing in the future of communication.
If you’re looking to have a significant role in roadmapping and driving technical directions, if you’re looking to deploy challenging and big ideas without much overhead or slowness, if you're looking to leave your mark on an ambitious, generational mission to change how the worlds thinks about speech + AI, then Sanas is a well-suited place for you.

About the Role

Sanas is looking for a designer who cares deeply about the craft of making complex technology feel effortless.

We are looking for a product designer who can build intuitive interfaces for the future of communication, empowering virtual and real-world conversations with real-time speech tools (e.g. language translation, accent translation, speech enhancement, noise cancellation). Mediums of interface include mobile apps, desktop apps, and web apps. And the design should be able to bridge our core B2B enterprise deployments but also B2C users.

Job Description

Product design

  • Own the design process end-to-end — from discovery and research to high-fidelity design, prototyping, and delivery — across enterprise and consumer experiences.
  • Partner closely with product managers and engineers to shape product strategy, goals, and success metrics.
  • Translate complex technical concepts (real-time audio AI, multilingual speech) into simple, human-centered experiences.

Design systems & craft

  • Contribute to and evolve the Sanas Design System and UI component library, ensuring consistency and scalability across platforms.
  • Maintain high design quality standards with thorough documentation, accessibility guidelines, and clean engineering hand-offs. Every pixel matters!
  • Continuously improve design tools, practices, and workflows.

User insight & research

  • Conduct or partner on user research, usability testing, and data analysis to identify needs, pain points, and opportunities.
  • Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into design principles and solutions that improve usability and satisfaction.
  • Advocate for the user throughout the product lifecycle.

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Work closely with PMs, engineers, and researchers to align on goals, requirements, and timelines.
  • Present and communicate design rationale clearly to teammates and stakeholders.
  • Partner with marketing and brand to ensure product and brand expressions are unified and globally inclusive.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in product design with a strong focus on user-centered, data-informed digital products.
  • A portfolio showcasing process, systems thinking, and shipped work that demonstrates usability, craft, and business impact.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, prototypes, and design system contribution.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g. Claude, Cursor) within the design workflow — research synthesis, ideation, prototyping — with a willingness to keep exploring new capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, accessibility, and responsive design best practices.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills — comfortable presenting and defending design decisions cross-functionally.
Bonus
  • Experience with voice/speech AI or audio-centric interfaces.
  • Skills in motion design, micro-interactions, or advanced prototyping tools.
  • Background in brand or marketing design with a sense of how visual identity scales across product surfaces.
  • Familiarity with modern "vibe coding" practices using tools like Figma Make.
