More about our mission and what we offer.

Job Description

Wise is one of the largest and fastest growing global fintechs. In this role, you’ll shape the strategy and lead development teams driving growth & expansion for Wise Consumer and Wise Business products across all markets in our fastest growing region.

Your mission:

  • You’ll walk in the shoes of our customers and define what a seamless localised product looks like - something 10x better than anything else.

  • You’ll redefine how people move money around the world - this is a chance to do something that matters, setting a new standard for global finance.

  • You’ll define our long-term strategies and roadmaps for how we grow our already launched mature markets in the APAC region

  • You’ll lead a team of 4+ Product Managers covering growth across all our APAC markets for Wise Consumer and Business products.

Qualifications

You may be a good fit if:

  • You’ve built consumer and B2B products at a massive scale. You have experience growing an early stage company, but you’re also able to navigate the complexity of a product at scale.

  • You’re hands-on and a strong individual contributor. You thrive as a player-coach. You roll-up the sleeves regularly and are able to operate at many levels of detail, flipping between executing as an individual contributor and leading a wider team.

  • You have 10+ years of experience in product roles, and have led high-performing teams of >5 PMs in the past. You excel at building strong, diverse teams, and you raise the bar on every team you interact with.

  • You’re always learning and doing whatever it takes to make your product succeed, whether it’s interviewing customers, designing UX, analysing data, or writing code.

  • You have experience leading teams in a product-led growth environment. You can set aggressive yet achievable targets, iterating quickly with experiments, and collaborating effectively across marketing/sales/ops to drive consistently large-scale and attributable growth.

  • You’re analytical and technical - you can write your own queries and you can keep up with engineers on technical discussions.

  • You have keen product sense, particularly in the banking/payments/fintech space. You’re passionate about products and are able to articulate very clearly what it is about a product that makes it successful (or unsuccessful).

  • You’re highly entrepreneurial and creative with fresh ideas - you don’t accept the status quo.

  • You have exceptional clarity of thought and are able to convey this simply. You bring structure to complex and fuzzy problems.

Our People:

At Wise, you’ll be joining a movement of people who believe in a better, fairer, more transparent way of moving money around the world. You’ll collaborate to do your best work and take on problems that no one has looked at before.

If you want to learn, grow, try new things and aren’t afraid of a bold plan, you’ll fit right in.

How we work:

At Wise, our strategy emerges from the collective brainpower of all our people, who are organised in dozens of independent, empowered teams. Teams stay closest to our customers, so they choose what problems to solve and where to spend the most time.

You’ll experience radical levels of ownership and empowerment within your role. Plus the opportunity to see the direct impact of your work on our customers.
