About Us

Relace is building the models and infrastructure that code agents reach for. We power the fastest model on OpenRouter (10,000 tok/s) and deliver optimized small language models designed for retrieval, application, and core code generation functions.

Our technology supports some of the world’s fastest-moving companies — including Lovable, Figma, and Vercel — as they deploy and scale code generation to hundreds of millions of users. We recently raised our Series A from a16z, and we’re growing quickly.

Our team is made up of mathematicians, physicists, and computer scientists who are deeply passionate about their craft. If you thrive on ambitious technical problems, care about elegant systems design, and want to build the foundation of how code gets written at scale, this is the place for you.

The Role

We’re looking for a Product Engineer (Frontend) who loves building polished, fast, and intuitive interfaces. This person will work at the edge of product and engineering, helping shape how developers interact with powerful models and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate enjoys shipping user-facing features quickly, iterating directly with users, and taking products from zero to one. They should have a strong sense of design quality, understand how to make complex systems feel simple, and be comfortable building full-featured frontends that scale.

This role is a good fit for someone who thrives in high-velocity environments, has a taste for good UI, and wants to own large parts of the product experience end-to-end.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience building and shipping user-facing web products.

  • Fluency in modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar).

  • Strong design instincts and ability to create elegant interfaces for complex technical products.

  • Experience working closely with backend and infrastructure teams.

  • Comfort with rapid prototyping, iteration, and working close to users.

  • Familiarity with developer tools or technical audiences a plus.

  • Willingness to work in-person from our SF office in FiDi.
