About Astrocade

Astrocade is a UGC gaming platform where anyone can turn an idea into a playable, shareable game in days, not months. Think YouTube, but for games. We’ve grown to more than 20 million users within just a few months of launch, and we’re only getting started. Backed by Sequoia, NVIDIA, and Google, Astrocade was founded by Amir Sadeghian (Stanford PhD), Ali Sadeghian (Ex-Google Research), and Fei-Fei Li (Godmother of AI). We’re building the infrastructure for a new era of interactive entertainment.

About the Role

Growth at Astrocade is not a single funnel - it is two sides of a platform that have to grow together. Creators need a reason to build here. Players need a reason to stay. As our product growth hire, you will help own the strategy, experimentation, and analytics foundation that helps both sides move, while developing a deep understanding of user behavior, motivations, and friction points across the ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of product, data, design, and engineering, turning insight into action for creators and players alike.

This is a hands-on IC role with a clear path to more ownership as we scale. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and grow. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every single qualification, we’d still love to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Own product growth across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and expansion for both creators and players

  • Identify the highest-leverage opportunities across creator and player funnels, and prioritize ruthlessly. Finding the right balance between the priorities of both players and creators and when making product decisions.

  • Build a deep understanding of users through data, experiments, feedback, and direct observation

  • Think in systems: evaluate how growth decisions affect different users, surfaces, and loops, and flag unintended consequences before shipping

  • Run rigorous experiments and turn insights into shipped product improvements

  • Partner with engineering and design to build onboarding, discovery, viral, and activation experiences

  • Improve the creator journey from first visit to first published game, reducing friction and accelerating time-to-value

  • Define core metrics, communicate the why behind recommendations, and document decisions and learnings clearly

  • Use and own agentic tools to automate workflows, uncover insights, and scale what works

You'd Be a Great Fit If You:
  • Have a strong track record of shipping experiments, features, or systems that moved key metrics such as activation, retention, engagement, or conversion

  • Are deeply curious about users and can combine data with judgment, direct user understanding, and product sense

  • Are highly fluent in data and analytics: comfortable with product analytics tools, experiment design, and translating ambiguous behavior into actionable insight

  • Have strong product sense - you can spot high-leverage opportunities, scope tight MVPs, and ship without overthinking

  • Thrive in ambiguity and are energized by building from zero rather than optimizing what already exists

  • Communicate clearly and document exceptionally well - you can explain the “why,” define the goal, outline tradeoffs, and leave behind recommendations that cross-functional partners can execute against independently

  • Are a strong cross-functional collaborator - you've worked closely with engineering, design, marketing, and data teams

  • Want to grow into a team leadership role as the growth function scales

Bonus Points
  • Experience growing a two-sided marketplace, creator platform, or consumer social product

  • Familiarity with viral growth mechanics and community-led growth loops

  • Experience building a growth function from scratch at an early-stage company

  • Comfort working on AI-integrated product experiences

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary plus equity

  • Health, dental, and vision coverage

  • Lunch provided daily
