The summary above was generated by AI

Midstream is an AI-native financial operating system for health systems, founded by experienced entrepreneurs and backed by top-tier investors. We give finance, supply chain, and managed care teams real-time visibility into where margin is at risk, with a precise action plan for capturing it before it's gone.

Purpose-built for healthcare's complexity, Midstream transforms structured, unstructured, and external data into instant, contract-aware insights that drive smarter decisions. Our AI agents unify spend and revenue operations across the full back-office, learning and adapting with every interaction and delivering always-on intelligence that no point solution or one-off engagement can match.

We're compressing months to minutes and turning post-period hindsight into in-the-moment foresight. The tempo of healthcare finance is changing, and Midstream is leading it.

Opportunity

We are looking for a Product Lead to build and scale product experiences at Midstream using the latest frontier model capabilities.

This role sits at the intersection of customer, engineering, and product, turning real-world needs into shipped product. You will report directly to the VP of Product and own high-impact areas of the roadmap, helping translate strong market demand into focused, high-quality product execution.

Midstream has established product-market fit. The focus now is on expanding the product, deepening value, and delivering new capabilities quickly. You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to identify what matters most, build MVPs fast, and evolve them into production-ready features—especially in areas powered by emerging AI technologies.

This is a high-ownership, execution-focused role. You’ll be expected to travel to customers as needed to stay close to real workflows and ensure what we build reflects how decisions are actually made.

What you'll be doing

Define and prioritize product bets

Synthesize customer, executive, and internal input to identify the highest-impact opportunities and drive clear product direction.

Own product development end-to-end

Drive features from idea through requirements, build, and launch, with a sharp focus on speed, quality, and business impact.

Work directly with customers

Engage with users to understand workflows, validate ideas, and ensure the product reflects real-world usage.

Partner closely with engineering and design

Translate product requirements into technically sound plans, balancing speed with long-term scalability.

Build and iterate quickly

Continuously identify new ways to build products on top of the latest model capabilities. Develop the product playbook, not follow a checklist.

Who you are

A product builder with strong ownership

You’ve led product initiatives end-to-end and are comfortable owning outcomes. You know how to weight the risks and benefits of building with new model capabilities.

Customer-focused and execution-driven

You move quickly from problem → product and prioritize what drives real impact.

Technically fluent

You’re comfortable building with frontier models, discussing new data models, and working alongside system constraints. You can work closely with engineering through all these workflows.

Strong communicator

You bring clarity and urgency to complex problems and align stakeholders effectively.

Comfortable in dynamic environments

You’re willing to travel to customers and operate close to real-world workflows. You are constantly engaging with emerging research and industry trends to deliver innovative product experiences
