Position Overview

Lumilens is seeking a Product Line Manager to support strategy and execution across high-speed optical interconnect solutions. In this individual contributor role, you will partner closely with product management, program management, application engineering, and commercial teams to help define product priorities, support customer engagement, and drive execution against business goals. You will contribute to product lifecycle management, market analysis, and cross-functional coordination across high-speed optical interconnect solutions, with particular emphasis on pluggable optics and next-generation 800G and 1.6T transceiver platforms for cloud, AI, and optical networking customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support product adoption and help ensure smooth integration and operational success for customers.

  • Work with customer engineering teams and internal partners to address issues, build trust, and support design wins for pluggable optical solutions.

  • Gather and synthesize customer feedback to help inform product development, operations, and support priorities across 800G and emerging 1.6T transceiver platforms.

  • Analyze technical requirements and application trade-offs, including form factor, power, thermal, reach, and interoperability considerations for pluggable optics.

  • Contribute to product line plans through market analysis, customer insights, and competitive research related to high-speed optical modules, including 800G and 1.6T transceivers.

  • Support product lifecycle activities, including roadmap execution, change management, and risk identification for next-generation pluggable transceiver offerings.

  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, engineering, manufacturing, finance, and operations to keep initiatives moving and aligned.

  • Assist in developing customer proposals and business cases that balance customer value with business objectives.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field

  • Experience supporting or managing optical product lines for communications, networking, or data transmission applications

  • Working knowledge of pluggable optical modules and transceiver technologies, including 800G platforms and emerging 1.6T architectures

  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, sales, and manufacturing teams

  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management, market analysis, and customer engagement

  • Comfort working with business metrics, product performance data, and commercial trade-offs

What Will Put You Ahead

  • MBA or advanced technical degree

  • Experience in photonics, optics, or adjacent high-speed connectivity technologies

  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure, data center, or optical networking markets

  • Familiarity with common pluggable transceiver form factors and deployment considerations, such as QSFP-DD and OSFP platforms
