Job Overview 

Product Manager is responsible for working with Selector customers across large enterprises and service providers to create an AIOps solution to detect, diagnose (find RCA), and remediate operational issues across complex network, infrastructure and cloud deployments. 

The ideal candidate brings hands-on product experience from modern observability or monitoring platforms, with deep exposure to network, infrastructure and cloud monitoring domains. Experience with application performance monitoring (APM) is highly desirable but not mandatory. PLM will work closely with engineering, data science, UX, sales, and customer success teams to translate real-world operational pain points into enterprise class product capabilities. 

Responsibilities

Customer & Market Understanding & Roadmap Alignment 

  • Engage directly with various teams in key enterprise customers - engineering, NOC,
    SREs, and IT operations teams - to deeply understand workflows, pain points, and
    success metrics for networks the customers operate. 
  • Drive the product roadmap to solve for operational pain points customers face.
    Emphasis is on making sure that Selector solution becomes part of day-to-day
    operational procedures for customers. 
  • Define differentiated product capabilities and solutions to eliminate high-impact
    operational problems in cloud, infrastructure and network environments across
    customer base. 
  • Prioritize competing enhancement requirements and drive balance between different
    specific customer needs, Selector business growth goals, and broader AI/ML trends
    to stay at the cutting edge of the AI/ML adoption in our chosen market segment.
  • Analyze competitive products to identify gaps, strengths, and opportunities for differentiation. 
  • Partner with sales and customer success to support solution positioning, demos, and
    proof-of-value engagements.

Execution & Delivery 

  • Write clear, precise product requirements (PRDs), documents, with a strong focus on
    ingesting specific customer data and delivering operational outcomes based on
    available data. These specific outcomes / success metrics for AIOps features include
    benefits such as alert reduction, noise reduction, MTTR improvement, alert fidelity,
    automation effectiveness. 
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, solutions and CSM teams to
    deliver features to meet /exceed customer expectations. 
  • Ensure AI-driven features are explainable, trustworthy, and aligned with how
    operators make decisions under pressure. 

Go-To-Market & Enablement 

  • Partner with marketing on messaging, positioning, and launch of new features.
  • Enable internal teams with product documentation, training material, competitive
    narratives, and customer-facing artifacts. 
  • Support strategic accounts and lighthouse customers where product depth and
    credibility matter. 

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience in infrastructure monitoring,
    observability, APM, or IT operations software. 
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure and network domains, including:
  • Routing protocols/ Switching (CCIE, JNCIE exposure) 
  • Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) 
  • Virtualization and containers (VMs, Kubernetes) 
  • Network telemetry (SNMP, flow data, metrics, logs, traces) 
  • Hybrid and distributed system architectures 
  • Proven ability to work w/ engineering on complex, data-intensive products. 
  • Experience with AIOps concepts such as event correlation, topology modeling, RCA,
    or predictive analytics. 
  • Exposure to network operations, NOC workflows, SRE practices, or large-scale
    enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with APIs, telemetry pipelines, and large-scale data platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate
    complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation

The salary for this role is $180,000 - $220,000.  Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, and may vary from the amount listed.
