As a product leader, we invite you to join Esri and help shape the future of technology connecting customers with world-class GIS apps. This position will lead product management for ArcGIS Instant Apps, a web-based application that enables users to transform maps into interactive web apps within a few minutes, without a single line of code. You will improve and reinvent the way our customers use geographic data, elevating them to use GIS across their organizations and to the world. 

You will have proven experience using web technology, driving a product vision, creating road maps, and interacting with user communities. Your emphasis will be on customer interaction, serving as the product expert, building team relationships, and influencing development priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Set the product vision, definition, strategy, and priorities
  • Own the product vision for AI features and capabilities by identifying and validating opportunities where AI can create value to Instant App users
  • Monitor and synthesize customer requirements from various feedback channels, prioritize them, and share with the development team for collaboration and direction
  • Document of customer interviews and product requirements in alignment with existing Product Management processes and systems
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of current capabilities, technology, market demand, and competition
  • Work with Product Marketing to produce marketing materials, social media content, public, and internal communication. This includes product launches, event messaging, blogs, and web page content
  • Collaborate with global business development, the partner team, and distributors to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
  • Develop and present demonstrations and messaging to strategic customers and internal stakeholders
  • Align with other product managers on a consistent overall platform strategy

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical or product-related role such as product management, product engineering, technical support, or sales engineering
  • Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and in presentations
  • Active listening skills and curiosity about others’ work, experience, and perspective
  • Ability to accurately translate customers’ business needs, technical needs, and existing workflows into actionable requirements and problems-to-solve
  • Passion for continuous improvement. Patience to work within a dynamic working environment. Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Be comfortable navigating ambiguous situations by relying on professional judgment without direct oversight
  • Ability to travel 10%-20% of the time to customer sites, conferences, trade shows, and other strategic meetings and events
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field or business

Recommended Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in a technical field or business
  • Experience with ArcGIS or similar geospatial technology
  • Experience with the Pragmatic Marketing Framework, or similar product management framework
  • Experience using AI, as well as productizing AI to deliver customer value

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$91,520$151,424 USD
