About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and optimization of payment integrity data products for healthcare payers, with focus on both prospective and retrospective solutions that enhance claims accuracy, prevent improper payments, accelerate payment recovery, and support regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in payment integrity operations and analytics, 3-5 years of data product management experience, be knowledgeable of the application of GenAI to payment integrity use cases and have a demonstrated history of successfully delivering payment integrity solutions to healthcare payers. You will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team to deliver innovative data products that solve data usability challenges, accelerate business value, and improve efficiency for US healthcare payers.

Your day to day:

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and execute product strategy for assigned data products in alignment with company objectives and payer business needs. Define and prioritize product roadmap and features aligned to business objectives.
  • Domain and Subject Matter Expertise: Leverage your experience and expertise in US healthcare payer data, payment integrity operations and analytics, and US health insurance markets to oversee and manage the product development lifecycle for payment integrity data products.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate with cross-functional team members, including Subject-matter Experts, Data modeling, Data quality and telemetry, Sales, and Customer Success, to deliver data products on time and within scope. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure effective communication across all functions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders (internal and clients) to gather requirements, understand business needs, and align product features with unmet buyer needs and client expectations. Communicate product vision, updates, and performance metrics clearly and effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure data solutions’ success and identify opportunities for improvement. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous enhancement of data solutions.

What you bring to the team:

  • Product Management Experience: 3+ years of product management experience including product strategy execution, data analytics proficiency, agile delivery, and relevant technologies and tools.
  • Domain Expertise: US healthcare payer data, payer operations and/or analytics, Medicare, Medicaid, Marketplace, and Commercial health insurance programs.
  • Subject Matter Expertise. Healthcare payment integrity including both prospective and retrospective approaches and hands-on experience with relevant data sources and datasets (e.g. claims, provider, member, enrollment, contracts/fee schedules, notes, etc.).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts, tell a story, and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborative Approach: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate efforts across multiple roles and functions to achieve product objectives.
  • Self-starter. Demonstrated ability to drive workstreams independently, leader with influence, and manage risks with strong compass on when to escalate issues.
  • Agility. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, maturing start-up environment.

What we would like to see, but not required:

  • Background/demonstrable experience in application of GenAI to operational and/or analytic payment integrity use cases.
  • Relevant certification: Product Management, Big Data, Data Analytics (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate).
  • Experience with data analytics, data management and visualization tools (e.g. SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Management).

Compensation: Compensation for this role is based on experience, skills, and location, and includes base salary plus eligibility for performance bonuses and equity grants.

What you’ll get in return:

  • Work from anywhere – flexibility to fit your life
  • Comprehensive health coverage – multiple plan options to choose from
  • Equity for every employee – share in our success
