As the DeFi PM at Tempo, you’ll lead the design, strategy, and growth of Tempo’s native Stablecoin DEX and liquidity layer. You’ll work closely with protocol engineering, data, and ecosystem partners to ensure that Tempo’s markets are efficient, scalable, and resilient. You’ll design liquidity programs, coordinate with market makers, and define how Tempo handles routing, pricing, and FX for stable value assets onchain.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for the Stablecoin DEX; from AMM design and pool parameters to routing and pricing logic.

  • Define and iterate on linkingUSD design, ensuring stability and composability across the Tempo ecosystem.

  • Manage relationships with liquidity partners and ensure smooth onboarding.

  • Coordinate integrations with aggregators and wallets for optimal routing and quotes.

  • Collaborate with protocol and infra teams to ensure DEX uptime, security, and onchain reliability.

  • Work with payments and FX teams to embed the DEX into Tempo’s payments flow.

  • Define and execute liquidity incentive programs to drive adoption and volume.

  • Partner with oracle providers for accurate pricing, MEV resistance, and data transparency.

  • Establish performance and reliability metrics (volume, spreads, slippage, uptime) and report them to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience in DeFi, trading, or market infrastructure.

  • Deep understanding of AMM design, liquidity incentives, and cross-chain liquidity mechanics.

  • Familiarity with stablecoins, oracles, and onchain FX.

  • Experience working with aggregators, LPs, and institutional market makers.

  • Strong quantitative background and ability to reason about liquidity, pricing, and risk.

  • Excellent technical communication skills; able to interface effectively with protocol engineers and data scientists.
