UniCourt is a leading SaaS provider delivering a powerful litigation data platform. We aggregate and organize data from US courts and other critical sources, enabling law firms, insurance companies, background check providers, and financial services firms to conduct sophisticated litigation research and generate actionable analytics. Our clients access this valuable data through our robust API, pre-built integrations, partner-built integrations, and our intuitive SaaS applications. We are passionate about empowering legal and risk professionals with data-driven insights.

About this role:

We are reimagining how legal professionals use legal research and analytics to drive their litigation strategy with modern AI tools. UniCourt has built the largest litigation data platform in the US that enables legal professionals to uncover insights faster, make better decisions, and win more cases. We’re seeking an Attorney turned Senior Product Manager, who can lead our docket/case search offerings and help shape the next generation of agentic AI powered search tools for litigation.

This role is about vision as much as execution. You’ll combine your litigation experience and legal education with product management expertise to design intelligent research experiences that fundamentally change how legal professionals interact with legal information. Working at the intersection of law and AI, you’ll lead a team to deliver tools that go beyond keyword search and create adaptive, context aware agents that anticipate attorneys’ needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive our docket search products, setting a long term strategy for innovation, as well driving the next 6 to 12 months of roadmap features with engineering.

  • Define and deliver AI based agentic search capabilities that provide context, reasoning, and actionable insights.

  • Partner with engineering and data science teams to push the boundaries of modern search technologies.

  • Use your legal expertise to ensure AI powered features mirror real litigation workflows and deliver trustworthy outputs.

  • Lead discovery and validation with litigators, knowledge workers, librarians to refine features and identify new opportunities.

  • Define success metrics that measure not just usage, but impact on attorneys’ ability to prepare cases effectively.

  • Represent the product vision externally with thought leadership in legal tech and AI.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience independently leading a user facing web based product

  • 5+ years of litigation experience or working with litigators and litigation workflows.

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) preferred

  • Deep understanding of litigation workflows and how attorneys approach case strategy.

  • Passionate about improving the current in-market solutions as they relate to finding past cases or insights from them.

  • Strong track record of delivering innovative, user centric products in collaboration with technical teams.

  • Familiarity with search, AI/ML, or natural language technologies.
