Position Overview

We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Media & Entertainment team, focusing on Cloud Collaboration and Production Workflow capabilities within the Flow Capture organization. If you have a deep understanding of film and television production workflows and technology, coupled with the ability to represent the voice of the customer in devising and executing product strategies, this is the opportunity for you. In this role, you will regularly engage with customers and partners to inform and validate our product strategy and roadmap. You will also collaborate closely with development teams to deliver on a roadmap that prioritizes the most impactful solutions. We are open to remote candidates located on the West Coast of the U.S. and Canada, New Zealand, or Australia.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Roadmaps: Work with team members to define and lead the roadmap for key collaboration and production workflows.

  • Customer Advocacy: Represent Autodesk externally by championing the voice of the customer and their needs.

  • Customer-Centric Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to understand, document, and advocate for customer needs, ensuring they inform product direction.

  • Roadmap Management: Develop and manage a clear, actionable product roadmap—prioritizing workflows and enhancements while managing risks and dependencies.

  • Collaborative Execution: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Scrum Masters, UX Designers, and Developers, to execute the product vision effectively.

  • Continuous Discovery: Conduct ongoing customer discovery and validation to inform iterative development and maximize product impact.

  • Risk Management: Work closely with leadership and teams to manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Industry Expertise: 3–5+ years of experience in product management or a similar role within the Media & Entertainment industry.

  • Domain Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in cloud collaboration for film and television production workflows and technology, with a strong understanding of customer pain points and review-related solutions.

  • Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to collaborate across teams and organizations to deliver integrated solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain Knowledge: Additional experience or specialization in film and television production workflows and technologies.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $105,800 and $182,600. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
