About the role

In this role, you’ll drive growth for the Rime Platform (app.rime.ai). This is where developers and product leaders first learn about and begin using Rime models and products. The Product Manager, Growth will make key decisions across acquisition, activation, and monetization, that directly impact product usage. You’ll work cross-functionally with stakeholders across R&D and GTM.

While our R&D teams are focused on building frontier models and cutting edge voice products, you’ll have ownership across areas of the website, the entire self-service experience, and how we convert awareness and signups into customers for those products. In short, you will decide which growth levers to pull and make sure we execute, learn, and iterate quickly.

You’ll report directly to the VP of Marketing and have access to dedicated product and engineering resources as well as partner closely with Product Marketing and Developer Relations to execute on your roadmap. This is a first-of-its-kind role at Rime, and we want you to help us establish what good looks like for this function.

  • Are outliers

  • Cut through the hype to focus on the craft

  • Move fast with agency and freedom

  • Maintain a growth mindset, finding joy in the struggle

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
