About Cartesia

Our mission is to build the next generation of AI: ubiquitous, interactive intelligence that runs wherever you are. Today, not even the best models can continuously process and reason over a year-long stream of audio, video and text—1B text tokens, 10B audio tokens and 1T video tokens—let alone do this on-device.

We're pioneering the model architectures that will make this possible. Our founding team met as PhDs at the Stanford AI Lab, where we invented State Space Models or SSMs, a new primitive for training efficient, large-scale foundation models. Our team combines deep expertise in model innovation and systems engineering paired with a design-minded product engineering team to build and ship cutting edge models and experiences.

We're funded by leading investors at Index Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners, along with Factory, Conviction, A Star, General Catalyst, SV Angel, Databricks and others. We're fortunate to have the support of many amazing advisors, and 90+ angels across many industries, including the world's foremost experts in AI.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Growth Product Manager to drive activation, experimentation, and product-led growth at Cartesia. As our first Growth PM, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how developers discover, adopt, and expand usage of our voice AI platform. You’ll lead data-informed initiatives that improve user onboarding, increase conversion through self-serve motion, and help us scale a developer-first growth engine.

This role requires a blend of strategic product thinking, analytical rigor, and empathy for developer users. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, marketing, and GTM teams to identify growth opportunities, design high-impact experiments, and build delightful, frictionless experiences for our developer community.

Your Impact

  • Own the end-to-end activation funnel — from signup through first value — optimizing each step to improve conversion and retention

  • Define and execute a rigorous experimentation roadmap to drive self-serve adoption, expansion, and monetization

  • Partner with engineering and design to create data-driven onboarding flows, in-product guidance, and developer success mechanisms

  • Collaborate with marketing and DevRel to align growth loops across product, docs, and community touchpoints

  • Build scalable systems for growth measurement, leveraging analytics and telemetry to identify levers for impact

  • Translate insights from quantitative data and qualitative feedback into actionable product improvements

  • Champion a PLG mindset across the organization by embedding experimentation and measurement into our product development process

What You Bring

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with a focus on growth, activation, or experimentation

  • Proven track record of driving measurable product-led growth at developer-focused or API-based companies

  • Deep understanding of developer workflows and the nuances of building for technical end users

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strong proficiency with analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker or similar

  • Experience designing, running, and interpreting A/B tests and other experimentation frameworks to drive growth

  • Demonstrated success in designing and executing growth experiments that impact key business metrics

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills

  • Technical background or experience working closely with engineering and data teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience with usage-based or freemium models in developer tools, infrastructure, or API products

  • SQL Proficiency

  • Familiarity with AI/ML or voice technology products

  • Experience building growth foundations from 0→1 at an early-stage (Series A/B) startup or Founder experience

  • Background in data analytics, product instrumentation, or user lifecycle modeling
