About the Role

WEX is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Intermediate Product Manager to lead the development of our shared AI capabilities. In this role, you will own the execution of specific features and components within a broader product initiative. You will be responsible for defining, building, and launching AI-powered solutions that serve our diverse lines of business, driving customer and business outcomes from concept to completion.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Discovery & Strategy:

    • Independently lead end-to-end discovery for new AI features or products.

    • Translate customer insights and user research into testable hypotheses for the product team.

    • Define and deeply understand the target customers and their problems, ensuring their voice is central to all decisions.

  • Execution & Delivery:

    • Drive the execution of complex initiatives and own the customer and business outcomes for your product area.

    • Proactively define input and output metrics and leverage product metrics to understand performance and deliver on OKRs.

    • Articulate how your work contributes to larger product goals and proactively confirm the value of enhancements provided.

  • Data & Insights:

    • Use interactive data tools and dashboards to make "insight-driven" product decisions.

    • Understand how to measure the impact of a product on customer experience and business results.

    • Begin to frame hypotheses and design experiments to validate product ideas.

  • Collaboration & Influence:

    • Set clear priorities and direction for your team and effectively present to high-level stakeholders.

    • Build bridges and foster close, collaborative relationships across different groups, including Digital, Technology, and Commercial teams.

  • Relevant Expertise:

    • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the AI product domain, relevant technologies, and market dynamics.

    • Continuously deepen your expertise and apply it to the product development process.

Experience You'll Bring

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in product management, with a focus on AI, machine learning, or similar technical products.

  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end discovery and own outcomes for a product or feature set.

  • Proficiency in using data to drive decisions and measure impact.

  • Experience collaborating with engineering and design teams to deliver on a product roadmap.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
