Job Description SummaryThe MICT Product Manager Canada is responsible for developing and implementing the business plan for the CT (Computed tomography) and the MI (Molecular imaging) business. Responsible for driving value selling throughout the selling cycle and deploying marketing strategies to support the business plan objectives. This includes but is not limited to understanding the Canadian healthcare market and developing strategies for product lifecycle management, new product/market launches, forecasting and sales analysis as well as developing internal and external promotional activities, understanding competitive activities, managing sales training and working with global/regional counterparts as necessary. This role involves some customer relationship management via tradeshow meetings and specific events.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
  • Deliver on quarterly & annual orders and revenue sales targets; maximize profit margin on equipment and service contract sales.

  • Perform quarterly forecasting and budget forecasting for all product lines within the business segment. Develop competitive positioning strategies and tactics.  

  • Develop and implement the business plan for assigned product lines including marketing strategies.

  • Effectively utilizes key industry information and market knowledge to gain competitive advantage in marketplace.

  • Leverage product knowledge in Molecular Imaging & Computed Tomography to drive funnel growth for the region.

  • Demonstrate expertise in customers’ installed base and develop sales proposals that map with their annual budget process.

  • Collaborates with Product Leaders across GE Healthcare at both the Global & Regional level in order to ensure that the best practice for the Segment is identified and adopted.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders within hospital and imaging center account service lines (Molecular Imaging & Computed Tomography) in order to identify qualified leads, grow market share and increase revenue.

  • Collaborate with the account community team to support co-developed negotiation strategies.

  • Manage the complete product lifecycle for assigned product lines including introduction of new products promotion of existing products and discontinuation of mature/declining products.  

  • Manage tradeshow and workshop coordination for assigned products.  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant Diploma in related field (e.g. life sciences, medical technology)   

  • 5+Years years of clinical and/or commercial experience in the healthcare/MedTech industry.   

  • Strong clinical and technical knowledge of Computed Tomography and/or Molecular Imaging equipment and applications

  • Ability to travel; 25-30% must have a valid driver’s license in good standing. 

    

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Medical device sales experience is a strong asset. 

  • Organizational analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Strong planning and organizational skills. 

  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge. 

  • Strong ability to work in matrix organizations and cross-functional groups. 

  • Proficient in both official languages (English/French) is preferred.

  • Located in GTA
