About Halliday

Halliday is a blockchain company and product lab working to create a unified, cross-chain payments ecosystem. Its flagship product, Halliday Payments, is a unified payments platform that makes it easy for users to onramp, swap, and take other onchain actions. Halliday’s products are built on the Workflow Protocol, which removes the need to code smart contracts by hand and enables breakthrough applications to ship in hours, not years.

Backed by a16z and #Hashed, Halliday has worked with prominent developers such as ApeChain, Story Protocol and DeFi Kingdoms to provide seamless experiences for both developers and users. The team includes alumni from Stanford, Harvard, Compound, Meta, Netflix, and more.

About the role

We're looking for a Product Manager to own the user-facing core of Halliday Payments. This is a high-impact role for a builder who loves the craft of shipping products — turning ambiguous problems into specs or prototypes, partnering closely with Design and Engineering, and iterating toward something users actually want to use.

You'll spend your time where the product meets the user: the embedded widget, the checkout experience, offramp, and the SDK surface that developers integrate into their apps.

What you'll be doing
  • Own the user-facing product surface. Drive the roadmap for the widget, checkout, offramp, and SDK UX — the parts of Halliday Payments that users and developers actually touch.

  • Turn ambiguity into a spec or prototype. Take a fuzzy problem and shape it into something concrete in collaboration with Design and Engineering. Write specs engineers can ship from. Prototype when that's faster than writing.

  • Run tight design-eng-product cycles. Partner day-to-day with Design and Frontend Engineering to iterate quickly. Unblock engineers with clear scope, crisp decisions, and fast answers.

  • Lead cross-functional execution. Partner with Engineering, Design, Partnerships, Legal, and GTM to align on objectives, navigate tradeoffs, and deliver launches from concept through scale.

What we’re looking for
  • Core Experience: 4+ years in product management with a demonstrated track record shipping user-facing products end-to-end. You've owned features from ambiguous problems through launch — not just contributed to them.

  • UX Instinct & Spec Discipline: You can translate ambiguity into a spec or prototype that Design and Engineering can execute against. You have a point of view on UX tradeoffs and can defend it without being rigid.

  • Autonomy & Startup Fit: You operate without hand-holding, scope your own problems, and are comfortable in ambiguity. You'd rather find the right question than wait for someone to hand you the right answer.

  • Builder Mentality: Generalist mindset with comfort in ambiguity. You prototype, vibe-code, and communicate through artifacts. You'd rather show than tell.

  • Collaborative Leadership: Track record of building trust and driving alignment across technical and non-technical teams — Engineering, Design, Legal, Partnerships, and Sales.

Nice to haves
  • Payments domain experience (payment rails, fraud and risk, regulatory frameworks, merchant/consumer payment flows)

  • Familiarity with crypto/Web3 infrastructure

  • SQL for data analysis

  • Fluency with product tools like Figma

Why Work at Halliday?
  • A role with significant autonomy to build out the next generation infrastructure of the blockchain space.

  • Competitive compensation package, with unlimited PTO and a friendly work environment.

  • For international candidates - we offer visa sponsorship!

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $170,000 - $220,000. This reflects the minimum and maximum range across all US locations. This does not include equity or benefits.

The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: experience, relevant skills, and role level. Your recruiter can share more about the compensation and benefits applicable to your location during the hiring process.
