About Halliday

Halliday is a blockchain company and product lab working to create a unified, cross-chain payments ecosystem. Its flagship product, Halliday Payments, is a unified payments platform that makes it easy for users to onramp, swap, and take other onchain actions. Halliday’s products are built on the Workflow Protocol, which removes the need to code smart contracts by hand and enables breakthrough applications to ship in hours, not years.

Backed by a16z and #Hashed, Halliday has worked with prominent developers such as ApeChain, Story Protocol and DeFi Kingdoms to provide seamless experiences for both developers and users. The team includes alumni from Stanford, Harvard, Compound, Meta, Netflix, and more.

About the role

We're looking for a Product Manager to lead the evolution of Halliday Payments. This is a high-impact role for a strategic builder with deep payments expertise and a track record of shipping products that scale.

What you'll be doing
  • Build and Scale Payment Infrastructure: Own the roadmap for Halliday Payments, defining and launching new capabilities including support for additional payment rails, innovative payment flows, geographic expansion, and merchant-facing features that unlock growth.

  • Drive Data-Informed Strategy: Establish and monitor key product metrics, synthesizing insights from product analytics, partner data, and operational metrics to identify opportunities and guide prioritization decisions.

  • Develop Market Intelligence: Conduct customer research, track competitive movements, and analyze payments industry trends to surface actionable insights that shape product strategy and positioning.

  • Lead Cross-Functional Execution: Partner closely with Engineering, Partnerships, Legal, and Go-to-Market teams to align on objectives, navigate trade-offs, and deliver seamless product launches from concept through scale.

What we’re looking for
  • Core Experience: 4+ years in product management, strategy consulting, investment banking, or high-growth tech/fintech companies with demonstrated experience shipping customer-facing products and influencing go-to-market strategy.

  • Payments Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem including payment rails (ACH, card networks, wire, RTP), fraud and risk management, regulatory frameworks, and merchant/consumer payment flows. Fintech product experience is a strong plus.

  • Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to work with complex data sets, establish meaningful KPIs, and translate quantitative and qualitative insights into clear product recommendations and strategic narratives.

  • Builder Mentality: Generalist mindset with comfort in ambiguity, willingness to dive into unfamiliar territory, and eagerness to expand your scope as the business evolves.

  • Collaborative Leadership: Track record of building trust and driving alignment across technical and non-technical teams including Engineering, Design, Legal, Partnerships, and Sales.

Nice to haves
  • Familiarity with crypto/Web3 infrastructure, SQL for data analysis, or product tools like Figma and Notion.

Why Work at Halliday?
  • A role with significant autonomy to build out the next generation infrastructure of the blockchain space.

  • Competitive compensation package, with unlimited PTO and a friendly work environment.

  • For international candidates - we offer visa sponsorship!
