The Product Manager will own Decile Hub's product surface from discovery to launch, writing specs, conducting user interviews, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure product success.
The summary above was generated by AI

Decile Group is transforming venture capital into a force for good in the world. We are working to launch 1,000 next-generation venture capital firms, changing the face of venture capital. We run VC Lab, the leading venture capital accelerator worldwide, and operate the Decile Hub platform — reducing the barriers of entry for next-generation investors to launch and grow meaningful early-stage investment firms.

We're looking for a Product Manager to join the Decile Group product team and own a meaningful surface area of Decile Hub. Read more about how Decile Group builds here: https://github.com/VCLab-Inc/Engineering

The ideal candidate is technically fluent, deeply curious about users, and relentlessly clear in their communication. You know how to take a messy problem and turn it into a crisp spec. You use AI tools daily — not as a novelty, but as a genuine part of how you research, write, and think. You're comfortable with ambiguity, good at asking the right questions, and allergic to vague requirements.

You don't need to come from a big company. You need to show us that you can ship.

Basic requirements:

  • You must live and work within a few time zones of Pacific (California) time. We are on Zoom and Slack a lot.
  • You must be able to write a spec that an engineer can build from without follow-up questions.
  • You must be actively using AI tools in your daily workflow — research, writing, analysis, synthesis.
  • You must be willing to get close to customers — calls, tickets, interviews — and turn what you learn into action.

If you want to own real product surface area, work with a sharp team, and build tools that thousands of investors use to run their firms — you belong at Decile Group.

And we want to work with you too.

What You'll Do

  • Own a product surface from discovery to launch. Define the problem, write the spec, drive alignment, oversee delivery, and follow up after launch to make sure it worked. You're accountable for outcomes, not just outputs.
  • Write specs that engineers love. Functional requirements, edge cases, acceptance criteria, and open questions — all resolved before a ticket hits the sprint. You respect engineering time by doing your homework.
  • Stay close to Decile Group customers. Shadow calls, run user interviews, read support tickets, and synthesize what you learn into clear, actionable insights. Be the voice of the customer without losing sight of business priorities.
  • Use AI to be a better PM. Leverage AI for discovery synthesis, competitive research, spec drafting, user segmentation, and anywhere else it sharpens your thinking or speeds up your work.
  • Maintain a clear, prioritized roadmap. Work with stakeholders across Decile Group to sequence what gets built and why. Communicate timelines, risks, and tradeoffs proactively.
  • Partner across Decile Group teams. Work closely with engineering, ops, legal ops, and customer success. Bring clarity and structure to cross-functional workflows and keep everyone aligned.

What You Bring

  • 4–7 years in SaaS product management or technical project ownership
  • A track record of shipping complex features end-to-end
  • Exceptional written clarity — your specs, tickets, and Slack messages are models of structured thinking
  • Technical fluency — you understand how web applications are built and can have real conversations with engineers
  • Active, sophisticated use of AI tools in your daily workflow
  • Experience building user-centered flows for operational, financial, or workflow-heavy products
  • Strong prioritization instincts — you can distinguish urgent from important and hold the line on scope

Nice to Have

  • Experience with venture capital, fund administration, or financial compliance workflows
  • Background in operations, legal ops, or workflow automation
  • Experience with product analytics and user behavior analysis to inform feature design and onboarding

How to Apply:
If you don't tick every box above, we'd still encourage you to apply. We're building a diverse team whose skills balance and complement one another.

Please describe why you are uniquely qualified for this position in the competitive field of Venture Capital to apply, as well as submitting your resume.

Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.
