Who are Heidi?

Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that supports clinicians every step of the way, from documentation to delivery of care.

We exist to double healthcare’s capacity while keeping care deeply human. In 18 months, Heidi has returned more than 18 million hours to clinicians and supported over 73 million patient visits. Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi across 116 countries and over 110 languages.

Founded by clinicians, Heidi brings together clinicians, engineers, designers, scientists, creatives, and mathematicians, working with a shared purpose: to strengthen the human connection at the heart of healthcare.

Backed by nearly $100 million in total funding, Heidi is expanding across the USA, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with major health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, MaineGeneral, and Monash Health, among others.

We move quickly where it matters and stay grounded in what’s proven, shaping healthcare’s next era. Ready for the challenge?

The Role

Integrations are the circulatory system of Heidi — the invisible infrastructure that lets our AI exoskeleton breathe inside the world’s most complex health systems.

We’re looking for a Product Manager – Regional Integrations to own how Heidi connects, scales, and embeds across the regional healthcare ecosystem in North America.

You'll own the end-to-end integration roadmap for your region: from enterprise EMR depth (Epic, Cerner, etc.) to mid-market breadth, balancing customer outcomes with commercial targets.

You'll work closely with our global platform team in Australia while driving regional execution with sales, engineering, and design partners.

This isn't just about connecting systems - it's about transforming integrations into seamless, delightful clinical experiences that become Heidi's competitive moat in your market.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the regional integration roadmap end-to-end - enterprise deals, mid-market expansion, and local compliance requirements.

  • Drive customer discovery with clinicians, practice managers, and health systems to deeply understand integration pain points and workflow needs.

  • Partner with regional sales and GTM to respond to pipeline demands - POCs, RFPs, and implementations that unlock revenue.

  • Collaborate with the global platform team to leverage reusable SDK components while contributing improvements back to the platform.

  • Work closely with Engineering and Design to deliver integrations that are technically sound AND provide exceptional clinician experiences.

  • Balance competing priorities across enterprise depth, mid-market breadth, and platform extensibility with clear communication to stakeholders.

  • Measure success through commercial impact - integrated market share, practice tier penetration, and customer experience (UMUX-lite 4+).

What You’ll Need

  • 3-5+ years PM experience in platform, API, or integration-heavy products - product ownership, not BA/consultant roles.

  • Healthcare + interoperability expertise - years in healthtech with hands-on FHIR, HL7, or similar standards. You understand clinical workflows AND can dissect API docs.

  • Technical foundation - ideally ex-engineer. Comfortable discussing auth flows, data models, and integration architecture.

  • Customer-centric with UX sensibility - driven by clinician outcomes, not just technical completion. "Make Heidi feel like part of the EMR" is your north star.

  • Commercial and stakeholder savvy - you balance revenue impact with customer needs, and thrive with competing priorities from sales, enterprise customers, and platform teams.

  • Bonus

    • Regional EMR experience (Epic, Cerner, MediTech, EMIS, Sytem1, etc.)

    • Enterprise healthtech implementations with hospitals/health systems

If we’d worked together the last 6 weeks, you’d have:

  • Led customer discovery with multiple regional customers to map integration pain points and workflow gaps.

  • Partnered with sales to scope and validate integration requirements across the region.

  • Built and pitched your Q1 regional roadmap aligning enterprise deals, mid-market expansion, and platform dependencies.

  • Worked with Design to define the ideal integration UX for your regional top priority vendors.

  • Contributed requirements to the global platform team for SDK and self-serve improvements that benefit all regions.

  • Shipped a few new upmarket experiences or integrations that moved a deal forward and delighted the end-user clinicians.

Why Heidi?

Our health systems hurt everybody. Systems are log-jammed, clinicians' lives degrade in quality, and patients churn through the meat-grinder.

This is neither a special nor interesting insight.

But it means we’re solving a real problem. Hundreds of thousands of clinicians use Heidi. Every clinician using Heidi gets hours back in their day. That’s the starting point to build the product of your dreams: immense distribution, and a world of potential.

You’ll join a team that doesn’t celebrate fundraise milestones or glossy PR. We live and breathe the pain of modern health systems and won’t rest until we’ve exacted the change we’d like to see.

The bad news: it’s not an easy job - you’ll tear your hair out more than once. Modern tech concepts don’t transpose easily into healthcare. The lows are really low.

The good news: you’ll trust and admire everyone you work with, and know you’re doing the defining work of your career. The highs are blindingly high.

Heidi will take care of you: equity, growth, wellness perks, and the chance to progress fast if you’re an A-player.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
