About the Role

We're looking for a Product Manager to power the next creative leap at Pika. You’ll shape the core experience of our generative AI platform, transforming how millions of creators bring bold ideas to life with powerful, intuitive tools. This hands-on, high-impact role is perfect for those who thrive at the edge of cutting-edge technology and imaginative product vision.

What You'll Do

  • Own the roadmap, prioritization, and end-to-end delivery for a flagship area of our creative platform—taking ideas from spark to launch and rapid evolution.

  • Work side-by-side with world-class engineering, design, and research teams to turn visionary ideas and AI advances into delightful user experiences.

  • Define and relentlessly drive success metrics, blending data, feedback, and creative insight to illuminate what creators truly need next.

  • Talk directly to creators, experimenters, and the Pika community to deeply understand how generative AI inspires—and where it can push creative possibility even further.

  • Craft crystal-clear specs, rally the team, and lead execution into the unknown in our fast-paced, possibility-filled environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 2–5 years in product management at a creative-tech company, consumer platform, or innovative startup.

  • Vision and ownership: You’ve shipped transformational features with minimal guidance, and you see around corners to anticipate creative needs.

  • Creative craft: Exceptional product sense—especially in ambiguous, idea-driven domains; you’re comfortable shaping the "never been done."

  • Communication: Inspiring and concise, both written and spoken; you align teams and energize creative collaboration.

  • Passion for AI: You’re genuinely excited by the creative revolution generative AI unlocks—and eager to harness it for bold, new possibilities.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on with consumer, media-rich, or collaborative creation products.

  • Experience thriving in 0–1 or "blank page" environments.

  • Technical fluency (able to dive into code or partner closely with engineering on creative tradeoffs).

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary in the AI frontier

  • Equity in a rapidly-scaling creative AI startup

  • Comprehensive benefits, monthly creative stipends, and company retreats

  • A vibrant, collaborative Palo Alto office culture—where inspiration, ambition, and fun go hand-in-hand

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
