The Product Manager will lead the roadmap for the Vulcan robotic weeding product, collaborating with engineering teams and managing the product lifecycle from development to launch.
About Us:
At FarmWise, we’re proudly developing AI-powered hardware and software that brings immediate value to our customers. To help us continue expanding our Vulcan robotic weeding offering, we’re looking for an experienced product manager to develop and lead the roadmap for a multidisciplinary team. You will work closely with embedded and machine learning engineers to define, develop, test and refine Vulcan’s ability to bring our customers value where it counts the most, in the field. The ideal candidate is an operator that loves to be in the field turning wrenches as much as being in the office leading sprint planning meetings with the embedded software team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience in a dynamic product management and/or program management role that included both hardware and software and preferable Machine Learning
- 3+ years product management or related industry experience
- Demonstrated experience using planning tools such as Jira or Clickup to track and drive the development of complex technical features
- Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
- High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
Objectives of this Role:
- Own the end to end success of new features and functionality for the Vulcan robotic weeding implement. This includes the discovery, planning, testing, go to market and on-going support of these features.
- Work closely with our partners and customers gathering feedback to establish a product roadmap that is aligned with FarmWise business goals.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Support and Operations teams to deeply understand how customers are using the product to triage, root cause and drive resolution of any customer facing issues.
- Distill input from various sources into a cohesive story that bridges the gap between our current reality and FarmWise’s future goals.
Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of all processes in the product life cycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams
- Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization

- Flexible PTO & 9 company-wide holidays
- Generous Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision), including FSA and HSA options
