Role Description:

We are seeking a product manager to specifically spearhead the strategy and execution of our AI-native products. This is a role for a leader who thrives at the intersection of deep technology, exceptional design, and business strategy.

Your mission is to deliver the AI-powered systems and autonomous agents that unlock unprecedented scale and efficiency for our customers. This role is for someone who has a relentless focus on craftsmanship, whether it's ensuring the integrity of data sources or perfecting the pixels of an interface.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Own the AI Product Vision & Strategy: Define the "what" and the "why" for our AI roadmap. Develop a deep understanding of our users and the market to create a compelling strategy for building a category-defining, intelligent product.
  • Define and Ship Autonomous Agents: Be the driving force behind our agentic systems. You will specify the agents' goals, behaviors, and success metrics for automating complex workflows like market analysis, supplier engagement, and user onboarding.
  • Master the Data Landscape: Go deep on data. You will lead the research to identify, evaluate, and prioritize the critical data sources—market data, pricing feeds, chemical specifications—that will be the lifeblood of our models.
  • Champion an Exceptional User Experience: You believe that powerful AI deserves a world-class interface. You will own the user experience from end-to-end, ensuring our products are not just functional but also visually stunning, intuitive, and a delight to use.
  • Drive Business Outcomes: You will be directly responsible for the success of your products. You'll define and track key metrics, ensuring your work leads to high-revenue generation, strong product-market fit, and exceptional customer retention.
  • Lead the End-to-End Product Lifecycle: Manage the entire process from ideation, user research, and technical specification to launch, iteration, and post-launch analysis in a highly agile environment.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Shipped AI-Native Products: You have a proven track record of shipping products built on modern AI architectures (e.g., RAG, agentic frameworks) from initial concept to launch and iteration. You’ve moved beyond prototypes and have delivered real value to users.
  • Product Ownership with P&L Impact: You have previously owned a product's P&L or key growth metrics (revenue, retention, engagement), with a clear, demonstrable line from your product decisions to significant business impact.
  • Deep, Practical Knowledge of Agentic Systems: You understand how autonomous agents work at a fundamental level. You’ve either built agent prototypes yourself or have defined and shipped products that use them to automate complex, multi-step tasks.
  • Exceptional Design-eye: You have a portfolio or a history of shipping products with outstanding visual design and intuitive UX. You obsess over the details of an interface and can articulate and defend your design decisions.
  • Hands-On Technical Investigation: You have experience digging into highly technical domains to become an expert. You are comfortable reading technical documentation, evaluating data sources for quality and coverage, and partnering with engineers on system architecture decisions.
  • Relentlessly Detail Oriented: You have a reputation for being meticulously detail-oriented. You leave no stone unturned, from the edge cases in a data source to the pixels on a screen to the wording of an error message.

Salary Range:

Salary ranges are determined by multiple factors, including the labor market, market compensation bands, internal parity, and budget considerations. The final offer will be based on the candidate’s individual skills, qualifications, location, and experience relative to the requirements of the role.

Benefits:

Valdera offers generous benefits to employees. Full time employees are eligible for premium healthcare, dental, and vision insurance coverage. You will be provided a more detailed breakdown of your options prior to joining Valdera.
