Title: Product Manager
Location: Pleasanton, CA 94588
Duration: 1 Year Contract
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Senior Manager, Digital Product Management, who will transform Kaiser’s mobile experience. This role will define and drive what the future of the consumer mobile (and emerging platforms) experience will be for Kaiser.

Within the Digital Services Group, this position falls within the Digital Product Solutions – Consumer Engagement team. This team applies our expertise about digital products (including mobile, Internet of Things, Virtual Reality, wearables,  etc.) to define and drive meaningful and excellent consumer digital experiences and bring high value to our business.
Kaiser Permanente is a highly collaborative work environment.  Success in this position requires the ability to effectively communicate and build consensus across a broad range of business partners, regions, and strengthen an already high performing team.  Our development methodology is Agile.   
 
The key responsibilities of this position are to:
•    develop and socialize a vision and prioritized roadmap for mobile and emerging platforms portfolio of products
•    plan and execute on mobile product evolution throughout the product lifecycle
•    manage and guide mobile product management team
•    align efforts (partnering with IT) to deliver on the vision and roadmap
•    champion the strategic vision of the KP Consumer Digital and Mobile.
•    think strategically
•    evangelize mobile and emerging trends among the broader digital product team
•    make decisions on scope and quality
•    manage and engage stakeholders (including business and clinical partners)
•    coordinate work and maintain continuity from inception to launch
Preferred Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree, Masters degree preferred or commensurate job experience
•    2+ years in mobile product management preferred
•    Strong analytic and communications skills required
•    Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
•    Proven successes with executive presentations and influence
•    Experience in an Agile or SCRUM development environment a strong plus

Additional Information

We are not looking for just a resume; this person must be able to show their experience and proficiency in this area to be successful. 


Candidate must possess strong software development skills to create conceptual and reference content including working code samples would be preferred 


They should be able to provide samples of API reference documentation that include XSDs, XML and/or JSON response samples 




If you have participated actively in API development cycles, providing feedback on the APIs themselves, and can show samples of developer tutorials and, ideally, dynamic websites, we want to meet you.
