About Zeno AI

Zeno AI helps people rehearse high-stakes conversations before they happen.

We launched in May 2026 with a voice-based AI interviewer that runs realistic mock interviews, scores candidates with recruiter-grade rigor, and gives concrete coaching tied to specific moments in the conversation.

Today, over 200 candidates and a handful of companies use Zeno. We’re starting with interview prep, but the broader vision is to help people prepare for any high-stakes conversation: sales pitches, fundraising calls, negotiations, performance reviews, podcasts, panels, and more.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Founding Product Manager to help shape the product experience, user strategy, and growth direction behind Zeno.

You’ll work directly with the founders to understand users, define product priorities, turn feedback into features, and help build a product people genuinely rely on before important conversations. This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to operate close to the product, customers, and strategy of an early-stage AI company.

You should be comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, user research, product writing, and translating messy customer needs into clear product decisions. We care less about perfect credentials and more about whether you can think clearly, move fast, and help us build something users love.

What You’ll Do

Talk to users regularly to understand pain points, behavior, and product gaps

Help define Zeno’s product roadmap across mock interviews, feedback, scoring, personalization, and future conversation-prep use cases

Translate user feedback into clear product specs, wireframes, workflows, and priorities

Work closely with engineering to ship new features quickly and iterate based on usage

Improve the onboarding, interview setup, feedback, and post-session coaching experience

Help design evaluation flows for interview quality, scoring accuracy, and user progress

Analyze user sessions, conversion funnels, retention, and qualitative feedback

Support growth experiments across waitlist users, job seekers, recruiters, schools, and companies

Help position Zeno clearly through landing pages, product copy, emails, demos, and user education

Own product areas end-to-end, from discovery to launch to iteration

Help define the product culture, customer obsession, and operating rhythm of the company

What We’re Looking For

Strong product sense and ability to understand what users actually need

Experience building, launching, or managing products, side projects, startups, or communities

Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear product requirements and priorities

Comfortable talking to users, running interviews, and synthesizing feedback

Strong written communication and product storytelling

Interest in AI products, voice interfaces, recruiting, career development, or communication coaching

Ability to move quickly without overcomplicating decisions

Analytical mindset and comfort using data to guide product choices

Self-starter mindset with high ownership and low ego

Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team

Nice to Have

Experience with AI products, LLMs, voice agents, or conversational interfaces

Experience working with engineers, designers, or technical founders

Experience with Figma, analytics tools, Notion, Linear, Supabase, PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar tools

Experience with recruiting, HR tech, career platforms, edtech, sales enablement, or coaching products

Experience running growth experiments or launching early user acquisition campaigns

Experience writing product specs, UX copy, landing pages, or customer-facing messaging

Previous startup, founder, or early-stage product experience

Comfort reviewing AI-generated outputs, scoring systems, or feedback loops

Interest in building products for job seekers, students, professionals, recruiters, and companies

Logistics

Full-time preferred, but open to exceptional part-time candidates

Remote OK

NYC or SF preferred, but not required

Early-stage role with meaningful equity

Compensation depends on experience and commitment level
