About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Velocity Product Marketing to lead the go-to-market strategy for Veeam's SMB and Mid-Market business. This leader will define the positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy that accelerates pipeline, customer adoption, and revenue across high-volume customer segments.

 

Working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Demand Generation, Channel, Customer Marketing, and Regional teams, the Director will translate product innovation into scalable GTM programs that help customers quickly understand why Veeam, why now, and why our solutions are the right choice.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the product marketing strategy for SMB and Mid-Market segments, including segmentation, personas, positioning, messaging, competitive strategy, and GTM priorities.
  • Define compelling, differentiated narratives that resonate with velocity buyers while aligning to Veeam's overall platform strategy.
  • Lead integrated GTM launches and campaigns in partnership with Product, Sales, Demand Generation, Channel, and Regional Marketing teams.
  • Develop scalable messaging, sales plays, enablement, and partner content that drives consistency across global routes to market.
  • Identify market opportunities through customer insights, competitive intelligence, win/loss analysis, and market trends to influence product and GTM strategy.
  • Partner with revenue teams to optimize pipeline creation, conversion, customer expansion, and competitive win rates.
  • Establish best practices, measurement, and operational rigor to continuously improve GTM effectiveness across Velocity segments. 
What You’ll Bring
  • 10+ years of B2B product marketing, GTM strategy, or solutions marketing experience, including several years leading product marketing teams.
  • Proven experience developing GTM strategy for SMB, Commercial, or Mid-Market technology businesses.
  • Strong expertise in positioning, messaging, launches, competitive strategy, and sales enablement.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with Product Management, Sales, Demand Generation, Channel, and Executive Leadership.
  • Strong executive communication, strategic thinking, and analytical skills with the ability to connect marketing strategy to business outcomes.
  • Experience in data protection, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, or enterprise software is strongly preferred.

Compensation Transparency

Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.

In addition to compensation, Veeam provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and unlimited time off.
