Your Team, Your Impact

Marvell is looking for a seasoned product marketing person to join our solutions marketing organization to drive our go-to-market positioning and messaging, sales enablement and market research for all business unit product lines across our end market segments . As a central leader, you will influence, collaborate, and partner with many functions and at all levels across the company spanning our business units, sales, corporate marketing, IT and operations teams.
The ideal candidate is a proven product or solutions marketing leader with successful experience launching products with clear positioning and messaging that enabled sales to win targeted customers. You have a strong bias to action with an ability to ruthlessly prioritize and have a proven ability to work effectively across different functional teams.

What You Can Expect

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a cross functional team to manage existing and new products, and win business. We are looking for someone who has close working relationships with our key customers, who can understand the technical and business needs customer faces and who can drive the team to execute.

  • Lead product business planning activities including: market/technology trends, market sizing (TAM, SAM, SOM), key customers to win, competitive analysis, revenue, product positioning and pricing.

  • Drive design wins with sales which meet annual and long-term revenue goals.

  • Establish relationships at key accounts and partners.

  • Lead optical DSP component platform for optical transceivers to ensure sales, engineering and cross-functional teams are all in-sync to execute what is needed to win key designs.

  • Drive outbound marketing activities including product promotions, industry events, trade shows, customer/partner press announcements, product launches, website updates.

  • Manage the opportunity funnel across data center, ecosystem partners and work closely with Sales to achieve design wins

  • Gain in-depth understanding of customer applications and competitor solutions to define Marvell product roadmap and ensure products are compelling and differentiated

  • Own development of comprehensive customer facing tools including customer presentations, white papers, solutions briefs and competitive positioning.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Arts or related fields and 10-15 years of related professional experience.

  • Master’s degree and/or PhD in Business, Science, Arts or related fields with 5-10 years of experience.

  • 5 years of relevant semiconductor experience with solid understanding of optical communication and components.

  • Can-do self-starter with strong cross-functional leadership skills.

  • Analytic mind who has had success in the launch of new products.

  • Demonstrated product life-cycle management across whole semiconductor product NPI process.

  • Proven ability to create and drive a funnel with sales.

  • Proven ability to gain respect and work effectively with Engineering organizations.

  • Strong product management experience including defining products, developing MRDs, and driving design analysis

  • Must have experience in a customer-facing role. The candidate must have the necessary communications skills and experience to be able to interface effectively and manage product expectations at customer.

  • Comprehensive background in semiconductor design necessary to evaluate product tradeoffs for performance, manufacturing cost, power and total development cost.

Desired

  • Working experience in the laser driver and TIA products is a strong plus.

  • Domain knowledge on Optical Transceivers for Data Center application is a strong plus.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

162,340 - 243,200, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
