TL;DR: We’re hiring our first Product Marketing Lead to partner directly with our founding team and Head of Marketing to help scale Listen from $XXM to $100M+ ARR. If you’re an experienced, customer-obsessed, high-ownership product marketer who's excited to join a fast-growing, early-stage startup in a career-defining role, this is the right role for you.

You’ll help sharpen our positioning, bring structure to launches and enablement, and build the product marketing foundation that powers growth. Deep expertise in B2B SaaS product marketing, ideally with understanding of product, design, or research personas preferred.

Background

Listen Labs is an AI-powered research platform that helps teams uncover insights from customer interviews in hours — not months. We help customers analyze conversations, surface themes, and make faster, smarter product decisions.

Company highlights — entirely product-led:

  • World-Class Team: Founded by serial entrepreneurs (previous AI exit), former co-founders, and talent from Jane Street, Twitter, Stripe, Affirm, Bain, Goldman Sachs, and many more Sequoia-backed startups (plus IOI/ICPC backgrounds).

  • Hypergrowth: We're a fast-growing team backed by top-tier investors that's grown several-fold in the past year, and we're set on multiplying that again. We move fast, care deeply about craft, and love working with people who take ownership.

  • Traction: Rapid growth across segments with enterprise wins at Google, Microsoft, Nestlé, and P&G.

  • Performance: Industry-leading win rate driven by a highly differentiated product.

  • Market Validation: Consistently winning customers across all segments with over six-figure lands that lead to quick expansions.

  • Viral Product: Interviews are shared with tens of thousands of viewers, fueling PLG, organic expansion, and daily inbound from Fortune 500s.

What You'll Do

  • Shape positioning and messaging: Refine positioning, messaging, and value proposition across segments and use cases. Translate product capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with target buyers and help us stand out.

  • Build the PMM function and processes: Help establish the product marketing function at Listen, including launch processes, enablement workflows, messaging governance, and strong cross-functional operating rhythms.

  • Arm sales to win: Create and evolve pitch decks, battle cards, demo narratives, talk tracks, and objection-handling materials to help Sales and CS win and expand accounts.

  • Partner cross-functionally: Work closely with Sales, CS, Product, Engineering, and the Head of Marketing to ensure GTM efforts are coordinated.

  • Market intelligence: Track competitive landscape, conduct win/loss analysis, and gather customer feedback to inform product roadmap and GTM strategy.

Who You Are

  • You're hands-on and resourceful, comfortable shifting between high-level strategy and execution, from crafting positioning frameworks to writing sales one-pagers yourself.

  • You're analytical and creative, able to blend market research and customer insights with compelling storytelling and strategic thinking.

  • You move fast, seek clarity, and thrive in ambiguous, high-growth environments where priorities evolve quickly.

  • You care deeply about craft and impact, not just output. You take pride in doing great work, even on small details.

  • You're curious and collaborative, eager to learn from teammates across functions and energized by talking to customers to understand their needs and shape messaging that drives revenue.

  • You're excited about building the product marketing foundation for a company defining a new category.

Life at Listen Labs

  • Competitive Compensation: We're backed by world-class investors, including Sequoia Capital, Ribbit, and Conviction, alongside Evantic, AI Grant, and Pear VC, and offer competitive compensation packages with meaningful equity ownership in a market where over 30B has been created in adjacent industries (Medallia, AlphaSense, GLG, Ipsos, Kantar). Our Sequoia partner, Bryan Schreier, was the first investor in Qualtrics—a $12B company tackling similar problems to ours.

    • The range for this role is $180,000 – $215,000 OTE. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, and work location. If this range doesn't match your expectations, we still encourage you to apply.

  • Benefits that Support You: Comprehensive healthcare and dental coverage, flexible time off to recharge, and an environment that values balance and trust.

  • Room to Grow: As an early member of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to take on new responsibilities, shape processes from scratch, and grow alongside the company. We value people who want to stretch beyond their role and build something lasting.
