Position Overview

Autodesk is accelerating into the era of the Forma Industry Cloud, and data is at the center of how design and construction teams will collaborate, automate workflows, and deliver better outcomes. We are hiring a Product Marketing Manager, Data to shape and scale the product narrative for the next generation of cloud-based data solutions — including Model Analytics, the AEC Data Model, Content Catalog, and other product launches that develop over time.

In this role, you will partner closely with Product Management, Strategy, Technical Marketing, Sales, and cross-functional GTM partners to build compelling messaging, support product launches, and drive adoption across customer types and industries. You’ll craft messaging that helps customers understand how open, connected data replaces monolithic files, enabling granular insight, instant downstream impact analysis, and smarter decisions.

This is a pivotal opportunity to help shape Autodesk’s cloud future and contribute directly to one of the company’s highest-growth opportunity areas.

Responsibilities

Product Positioning & Narrative Development

  • Develop clear, differentiated messaging for Autodesk’s data capabilities

  • Articulate the “files → open, connected data” story across AECO audiences and the Forma industry cloud

  • Translate technical product concepts into customer-centric value propositions tailored to designers, engineers, VDC managers, and construction project stakeholders

Go-to-Market Planning & Launch Support

  • Build and execute GTM plans for new data releases, coordinating with Product, Engineering, Technical Marketing, Campaigns, Sales, and Enablement

  • Support Model Analytics, Content Catalog, and Data Model launch readiness, documentation, and marketing asset development

  • Help standardize how data is positioned across web, sales assets, campaigns, and product entry points

Sales & Customer Enablement

  • Create sales tools, competitive positioning, demos, and onboarding materials for sales overlay teams and channel partners

  • Partner with sales leadership to equip teams with clear talk tracks, value messaging, and objection-handling for data products

  • Surface customer insights and help inform packaging, expansion plays, and adoption motions

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with Product Managers, Industry Strategy Leads, Product and Technical Marketers, Campaign Managers, and Content teams to ensure alignment

  • Contribute to broader Forma portfolio storytelling by connecting data workflows across design and construction

  • Participate in key moments such as roadmap reviews, product launches and releases, and customer facing events

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing, or a similar role

  • Understanding of cloud platforms, data management concepts, and/or digital collaboration workflows

  • Experience developing product messaging, positioning, and launch materials

  • Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to interpret complex information and connect it to the broader product narrative

  • Demonstrated ability to “connect the dots” and work independently

  • Experience collaborating with Sales, Product, and cross-functional partners in a matrixed environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-native platforms or related domains

  • Strong writing, storytelling, and content development skills across a range of formats

  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, evolving priorities, and fast-moving product cycles
