We are looking for a high energy and proven cybersecurity Product Marketing Manager with experience in an information security company or B2B SaaS tech organization. This individual will work closely with subject matter experts and produce value-based messaging, content and collateral that effectively differentiates GuidePoint Security’s offerings in the market and facilitates sales efforts. This role will be part of the corporate marketing team and report to the Director of Product Marketing.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment. This person should be driven by absorbing and learning about every facet of cybersecurity, and passionate about building and communicating the value story and drivers behind products and services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Master storyteller – be able to translate the technical content from SMEs into engaging collateral that draws customers in and clearly articulates how our solutions help address critical cybersecurity problems.
  • Drive thought leadership messaging & positioning for assigned offerings.
  • Create differentiated, value-based content and collateral based on understanding both the competition and the buyer personas involved in a purchase decision.
  • Craft compelling Offer messages for use across marketing channels and activities
  • Lead content development and go to market strategy for new and existing offerings. This may include writing or reviewing marketing copy, writing web page copy, sales collateral, blogs, whitepapers and videos – and collaborating with various teams to ensure communication and goals are aligned.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to better position services
  • Contribute to the company’s blog strategy and content creation
  • Manage our Digital Asset Management platform to ensure that every service area has updated and relevant content, and maintain source documents and materials in designated central repository.

Required Experience: 

  • 3-5 years’ cybersecurity product marketing experience (must have previous Cybersecurity experience)
  • Detail-oriented and organized multi-tasker who can execute multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Demonstrated success value-based messaging and competitive positioning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant subject matter expertise in the cybersecurity products, services and industry.
  • Understanding of how a product/service is sold and the toolkit needed to enable sellers.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and work collaboratively.
  • Preferred experience: social media, various content types, support for digital marketing campaigns, and ability to write web content.

Travel Requirements:

  • Remote
  • 10-15% travel (more or less can be discussed with manager)

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work
  • Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day
  • Required to have close visual acuity to view computer terminal and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day
