Responsibilities

As a Founding Marketer at Patronus AI, you will own and build our brand from the ground up, defining how we show up to the world across voice, narrative, and presence. This is a true 0→1 role for someone with high agency who is excited to move fast, experiment, and turn ambiguity into structure. You will work closely with the founding team across product, research, and GTM to translate complex AI concepts into clear, compelling storytelling, while driving everything from brand strategy and content.


In this role, you will:

  • Own and execute marketing strategy end-to-end, from brand positioning to campaign execution and distribution
  • Translate complex AI/ML concepts into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with technical audiences
  • Build and manage Patronus AI’s presence on Twitter/X and LinkedIn, shaping our voice and engaging with the broader AI community
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns across channels, including email, social, website, and content
  • Collaborate with the product team to define product positioning and messaging that differentiates Patronus AI
  • Bring the brand to life in the real world through curated events, hackathons, and high-signal community events, with thoughtful merch and a strong on-the-ground presence
  • Produce high-quality marketing collateral such as onepagers, case studies, blog posts, and presentations

Above all, we look for a proactive mindset, willingness to learn, intellectual flexibility, relentless optimism and drive, and passion for marketing. You are a great fit if you have a background in the following:

  • High agency and ownership mindset; you take ideas from 0→1 without needing heavy direction
  • Proven experience in early-stage startups or building from scratch, with a strong track record of successfully marketing technical products
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for storytelling and brand
  • Scrappy and resourceful; comfortable experimenting, iterating, and moving quickly 
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically, from defining brand positioning to executing campaigns
  • Experience with digital marketing tools
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Have good character, integrity, and respect for others!
